I Am So Sick of SMELLING!!!!

Becka. Is he eating to much? Just a thought. Just think when he is a teenager you'll be wishing he was still small and spitting up on you. That just reminds me, I took from the coat closet my sons little dubgeree jacket, he was3 or 4 when he wore it. I could of cried, my baby is now going on 21 this yr. so enjoy your little boy, he is so cute and they go threw phases in their life and yours. Keep us posted how he is doing. :D

Ahhh the memories... I had a spitter upper who thrived but seemed to spit up 2 ozs for every 4 he drank. I finally got so sick of laundry that I took large trash bags and cut out a neck and arm slits and wore that around the house. I bought cheap shower curtains that I kept under the crib, the high chair, and the chair where I usually fed him. Mine always barfed down my back as I was burping him. He did outgrow it but that phase did seem to last forever. Hope it is over quickly for you and your baby.

Oh I remember those days. All of mine were spitters. We would always hold DD facing outward. My carpet had circles all over it where we would spot clean:rolleyes:

Christmas Eve I held a distant relatives baby who politely threw up...right down my bra forming a puddle. I have to tell you, I do NOT miss those days! And then my cousin's hubby, who was a little drunk (he never got over the death of his teenage son) offered to help me clean it up. LMAO. I took his hand and thanked him but assured him I could handle it myself.:p

I, too, can relate. DS spit up so much that he carried
a burp diaper around until he was 5-called it a "comfy."
We used beach towels and wore the same clothes
over and over-formula stains on only one outfit that
way. I wore a full apron too. Luckily, we have wood floors
and so I just took up the throws. DS had reflux- we
used Zantac. my nephew was on reglan and prilosec
from 4 months as he was in major pain and threw up
loads. Lactose based formula made DS's worse so we
switched to soy but watch for the iron in it-it causes
constipation. there is a lower iron soy based formula-I
can't remember what it's called. We took DS off the
Zantac last summer-he's 7. Every once in a while, he
experiences reflux - he's old enough for situational
Mylanta now. Good luck with the spitups. I have a
friend who's 6 month old is still doing the projectile
stuff. I'm one of a few not afraid to hold him within the
hour after he eats. It does go away.

Goofygirl....I will save you the time in posting to this thread. We all realize that this makes you glad that you don't have kids and have made the noble choice to remain childfree. I also realize that you think that I made the choice to "breed" and therefore I should have relinquished all rights to complain.

That's correct.
The most correct thing I think I've ever seen you post.

Gee I was hoping that by posting for you we could avoid getting this thread OT. I just posted the disclaimer so you wouldn't try to turn this thread into another "breeders" post. Guess I was just dreaming....

By the way, thanks for letting me know that I am correct about what you would have posted. I will make sure to let you know when you are finally correct about something you post.
