ARGH!!
Okay, I know I just got back from vacation and it always takes a bit to recover from that, but I had a relaxing vacation overall and I had a fair amount of energy yesterday. And I've been like this for way too long for it to be related to the vacation.
Despite going to bed at midnight last night and getting up at 9 (meaning 9 hours of rest/sleep), I've still been so tired today I can't function well. I'm sluggish, my thinking is slow, reaction time slow.... All I want to do is sleep.
I'm so TIRED OF THIS!!
I've tried medication, vitamins, diet coke, changing diet, exercise, getting more sleep, getting *less* sleep... the only thing that seems to make a difference is a change of scenery (like vacation) and even that doesn't work too well. I've had all sorts of tests done, but nothing shows up. I'm betting it's thyroid (every woman on my mom's side it seems has thyroid problems), but it's not showing up in bloodwork. I don't feel *sick* (for once), just *tired*. Unless the zyrtec I take at night is making me tired all day, none of my medication is supposed to make me sleepy like this.
I felt so much better on the trip that coming back to Houston and resuming my usual "always tired" stuff is just like a slap in the face, and I HATE IT!!!
