I am so OVER Target (rant warning)

I am another Target lover that is getting a little frustrated with them too. On Black Friday I had found 2 smallish items that I wanted to price match. I went to the CS desk to do it and the lady told me "we don't price match on Black Friday." I asked her where I could find that rule. She didn't know and sent me to the front end manager who then told me the same thing. I told her that I had specifically gone over their entire Price Match policy on their website to make sure I could price match these deals and no where did it say I couldn't. I even had their Black Friday ad with me that detailed their price match policy on the back page. She then called over the store manager who told me the same thing. I again asked where this policy was available for the public to see.

This specific restriction isn't in the current ad - probably because that weekend is now 49 weeks or so away - but the ad does tell customers to see Guest Services or target.com for details.

Thanks for that. I scoured the website and never saw it. They really should have also printed that on their Black Friday ad instead of giving their Price Match Policy and not including any restrictions.

I'm almost positive it was in the BF ad, DisneyHardin. Look at this week's ad; there's some fine print throughout, but on the bttomo on of the back page they give the conditions for the general price match policy. I think I remember seeing the Thanksgiving weekend policy at least earlier in November.

The exclusion was not in the BF ad, the Price Match policy on the back page of the ad was the same one that is always there. The Store Manager and I went over what was in the ad and she reluctantly agreed with me that there was no information about exclusions.

What it does say, though, is "Important additional restrictions apply. See the Guest Services desk or target.com/confidence for details."
