I know I still have plenty of time, but I am getting so frustrated :scared1: at the cost of everything this year. Last year same week we flew AirTran for $702, rented a car from National for $104, and stayed at the Sheraton 4 Points (Phila airport) night before our flight for $125 included 8 nights of parking and shuttle service......airfare at least $869, National at least $250, and same hotel $180ish. UGH.....someone make someone starts advertising some deals:wizard:

I think, especially in Orlando, the costs associated with offering rental cars is higher than in the past. I think while airfares are still insanely low in some cases, that's not-so-much the case for rental cars.

I'm so fustrated at the fares and all that we're driving to WDW from Boston during April Vacation week.
Good luck all,
Joe

I know the Sheraton Four Points sometimes offers Park-Sleep & Fly packages. I think I found it on the Starwood website.

We were all set to drive from CT to Orl, I had everything all organized, up until about a month ago when we came across $64 ($730 for 5 of us) fares via AirTran. So I guess the $100.00 or so extra for rental cars is okay!

KCork...Remember that you can cancel a car rental reservation at any time without penalty. I'd keep the reservation that you have and keep looking for a better rate.

As far as your hotel stay at the Sheaton, since you live in the Philly area, why don't you just drive to airport and use one of the offsite parking lots. We always use Pacifico. I'm sure there are other's that can recommend other offsite parking lots that work for them. They are all located by the airport auto mall. At Pacifico you pull up and go inside and an attendant drives you and your family in your car to the airport. When you return, you collect your luggage and call them and they pick you up. The attendant drives you back to the lot and you go and pay. You can find a coupon for Pacifico online (just do a google search). If you do that route it's less money than doing the park and fly at the Sheraton.

Rumor has it that the Southwest rates are coming out today. I'll have to see that to believe that.

that is exactly what i do. I don't care about driving in fact I love to drive and did last year. So I will rent a vehicle and then if something comes along I will change it.
