Well, when I first booked my Dec vacation for WDW, I could only get a 1bd Dec 15-20 at VWL, and the 13-14 at OKW. I waitlisted for the other two nights, but didn't do it on a nightly basis because I didn't want to get the 13th and end up having to move twice. Well, I had to call today to add a dining plan to one of my ressies so I decided to check for VWL again, and lo and behold the 14th was available!! SWEET! So now I only have 1 more night on my WL, so wish me luck and some pixie dust!

So you were on the waitlist, but you found out by calling in that the 14th was available? I thought if you were on the waitlist, they call or E-mail you to let you know you can have it. I ask, because we'd like to add a night at the front end of our reservation, then drop one at the end. (I'm trying to figure all this stuff out.)

Anyway - congrats on getting one more day of what you want. Hopefully, you'll get one more!

Because I was on the waitlist for 2 days together as one waitlist, it wouldn't come through unless both days were available, so when I called and noticed that one more day was available, I grabbed it since it was not the first day (which would have meant moving twice. This way we only move once on the 14th.

Also, supposedly, they send out a new confirmation to you in mail, but you can also check dvcmember.com

Just curious...is your 1 bedroom at OKW near the hospitality house? I am on a waitlist for a 1 bedroom near HH at OKW for the 13th. Good Luck!!
