I Am So Done With Winter

When is it going to end?

Last night we had an ice storm which knocked out power. 5th snow day for my kids this year. I made it to work after chopping ice off my car for 45 minutes and after another 45 minutes of white-knuckle driving.

Then it started blowing and snowing and we have a fresh 4 inches of snow on the ground. There is no sign of it stopping.

Hello - it's March 7th. Enough is enough. Save some for next year.

I agree 1,000,000% ... we had so much rain & wind yesterday that I thought we were going to need to build an ark ... I am thankful it wasn't snow or ice though, as we had our fair share of that this winter too ... actually even with all the rain we had, we still have a mound of snow left in the backyard ... I really hope nicer weather comes soon ... this winter has just been so depressing and I am so over it ...

I also agree! Usually I can take it all in stride and just be grateful for each day as it comes. But NOT THIS YEAR! For some reason, it's getting to me like never before. At least we have sunshine today, which helps. But it is soooooooo cold!! Hurry spring!

My kids are in 5th grade, and I swore I would not move them until they graduate. But I am really tempted after today.

I agree, we just had a snow storm here in central NY just when we got rid of all the old snow. It never seems to end. I can't wait for spring.

I am in Vermont.

It stopped. There was actually sunshine when I got home from work - while I pounded the two inches of snow off the roof of my van.

Done done done done done - did I mention I was done?

We got another 21" of snow last night. On Saturday I was thinking that folks would be putting their snowmobiles away because I could see patches of green. Yeah, right.

I agree. I'm someone who usually likes winter and snow, but even I am ready for spring.

I'm so glad that I am going to Disney in just a little under 3 weeks. I can't wait to get away from it all for a few days.
