I have a split stay 1bdr at BLT one night(3/16 Thurs), 2 bdr SSR 3 nights. There were 5 of us on reservation for the 1 brm and now granddaughter wants to drive down and meet us at like 12AM on the night in the 1 bdr I know it is only for 5 that we now have. Will they let me add her if I bring a blow up bed or even let her in resort at that hour if she is not on ressie. I have never stayed at BLT and not even sure how it works there. We had no choice as there were no rooms available anywhere when I booked so stuck with this. Any help or advise. Hope I explained well. Carol

No. The BLT 1BR sleeps only 5. It's not "add people if you bring bedding." Occupancy is 5. She will need to stay elsewhere.

They allow only five to be registered in a 1BR (plus a child under three), including the ones like BLT that have sleeping spaces for five. However, they also allow you to have guests over during the day by informing front desk before they arrive and security of the identity of the visitor so they can be allowed entry at the gate, so you might be able to have her stay until the morning that way, although I do not know whether that is something that they would allow at midnight since I have never had a late night visitor. Note, however, in the "guest" situation, that guest will likely have to valet park at Contemporary because of the three hour parking limit for those visiting and not staying at BLT/Contemporary that applies to free parking

She may just want to drive down to arrive in the morning when you are checking out of BLT. Otherwise she technically can not stay in the room. There really is no reason for her to show up at midnight. She might encounter less traffic driving at night to arrive early in the morning.

Thank you all, that is what I thought and told her mom. Its a 6 hr drive from AL so leave early and meet us at SSR. Ok I really appreciate the help. Carol
