I am not smart.... cookies ????

I don't have a clue where to clear those darn cookies. I am not a dunb lady, I am just not as computer smart as I think I should be.

Anypne want to tell me where to go and clear the cookies?

Don't forget to clear out those temp internet files periodically as well. Its the button right next to delete cookies (delete files/clear files).
 

Not to steal the OP topic....but does anyone one know what to do about a Windows 98 operating system..clearing cookies? Also how do I do the Daylight savings patch thingy? :confused3

Clearing cookies should be the same way in any internet explorer version (I don't think it has anything to do with XP vs. 2000 vs. 98) Just do the tools options and then clear cookies.

The daylight savings patch - I think you would need to go to microsoft.com and run the update wizard to search for updates and it will tell you all the critical updates you need to download and you can pick and choose from there. I would assume the DST patch would be an option.

I'm not sure the Daylight savings patch would be readily available for Windows 98. I think Microsoft quit supporting Windows 98 in July of 2006.
