I love all the pictures of the main pool at OKW. Cynthia and I never went there, but since Denny and I will be pool hopping in October maybe we'll just head there.

I'm sorry that the cold really took it's toll on you. Summer colds really are the worst.

I haven't been back to Vegas in a few years. The last time we went it was for New Year's Eve, and the quantity of people around was just insane! I'm glad you guys had a great time.

Pool days are always great too. Truthfully, if we offered the boys the two options, I don't know which one they would pick....probably the pool. Instant gratification.

I have never been to DisneyQuest. Doesn't appeal to me at all. I can feel the tone of this update coming.......

I am so sorry you brought home a cold as a souvenir from vegas. Somehow, I do not thing that is the right souvenir.

Love the pool pics. I am excited to see the pool in October. It was closed in January...so this will be pretty neat.

The turtle is pretty cool! I have seen them in the water but never on the land.

I am pretty sure I know exactly why you have not been to DQ in quite a while... I have been once and that was plenty for me.

I love the main OKW pool, of course walking distance to the gurgling suitcase doesn't hurtbut the whole vibe is just pure relaxation.

Wow that pool area really is nice, the theming is so cool.

So fun about the girls finding the turtle. Those turtles often find their way onto the streets near our home, we have some good neighbors that help them out of the street, and my husband has once, but then we have a few neighbors that drive so fast and just don't care

Looking forward to reading about your DisneyQuest adventure. My husband and I had fun going there on our honeymoon 10 years ago, but haven't taken the boys yet.

Ahhh DisneyQuest. I remember being SO happy when DS was able to take the boat and go by himself arcades are not my thing...unfortunately my DS13 wants to check it out (he's too young to remember it).

Our attorneys insisted on going back to Mark's former job and they've agreed to a bit more money. Not what we asked, but enough that we are happy.

Nice to hear a little good news there.

Mark and I have a SPECIAL DIS meet planned later this month. But I've decided NOT to tell you who it is. You'll have to wait until after the fact and see the picture. But I am very excited about this meet.

But I didn't get a call to set up a meet.

Glad you had a good time in Vegas. You spent more time there than we did!

That first picture with the bird might just be one of his better hat pictures, though.

The note said something like "now you'll always have your own". This is in reference to the balloon. As many of you know, I give a balloon away every trip in memory of my dad. Now I have my own balloon to keep my dad close to me during my entire Disney trip. D, you have my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for your friendship and your thoughtfulness. Love you!
