Oh man, that stinks! Having worked in a theme park before, believe me, the red tape that goes around evacuation is just insane.

I could not believe how long it took!

I always feel like a giant around the little characters too! They barely come up to my shoulder!

This was the first time I actually felt uncomfortable.

It looks like the two of you had an amazing evening! EXCEPT for that hour long boat ride. OMG! That would have had me a bit on edge to be honest. I am glad you were able to still fit some more in that evening. The interaction with Tinkerbelle looked like it was really good! What a special time for you and Cayley.

We really had a lot of fun. There was a lot of laughing and we even skipped together. That time on POTC was painful!

She really wasn't. Cayley is growing like a weed...don't think she'll ever be able to play Tink.

I cannot believe they left you on that boat for an hour. I would of been mad. I know Melody would of lost her mind.

I was getting close to losing my mind. We had a nice couple in front of us who kept Cayley occupied with asking her questions about her visit, etc.

Great interactions with Tink! We had fun with Tink a couple years ago, but now that my little one is 6 he says no more princess or fairy meets.

I wouldn't mind getting stuck in POC but not there and not for an hour. I have been stuck at that spot for 10 minutes or so. I figure if I get stuck in a dark ride at a good spot I can finally get some good dark ride pictures.

Had I been a little closer to see the Johnny Depp pirate it might not have been as bad.

It looks like you had quite a fun night, except for the POTC. I once got stuck on ToT during EMH with my mom right at the stroke of midnight. It was very weird and we were there in pitch black for about 30-45 minutes. I think the endless loop of POTC music would've been worse! I'm glad y'all were still able to get another ride in. BTMR is the best at night!

Except for POTC, it really was a perfect evening. Wow...now that might have freaked me out a bit too on TOT. I was glad when they FINALLY turned the music off. Nothing like BTMR at night.

I can not believe they left you on the ride for an hour. Crazy, I would not be a happy camper. Other then that you guys look like you had a great night together!

I was surprised it took so long too. And some of the CM's didn't seem to care that we were just "sitting there."

Dang, I guessed wrong. All I have to say is "Cayley, you go girl!". I love the pic of Cayley trying to get the sword out! Maybe one day huh?

She rocked it that night. Maybe she'll get it out one day if she eats her veggies!

Stuck for an hour on POC...yuck! That's a long time to be stuck on any ride. Like my DD said in the previous post, we got stuck on TOT for a long time. It was actually a good laugh for all of us though because we had "really entered the Twilight Zone".

I would have felt like I was in the "Twilight Zone" too; good that you could laugh about it.

I wouldn't say we slept in, but we sure as heck didn't get up as early.

sounds like a really fun evening - other than getting stuck in Pirates for so long. Cool that you got the extra fast pass and got to see a bit of "off stage" but definitely not worth it for an hour wait - that's a really long time!

WTG on sticking with EMH. I think after sitting on a dark ride for an hour I would have been done for. I too, was not surprise that Cayley and you continued. She seems determined to get all she can our of WDW. Plus I think it is an age thing. The younger ones never want to call it quits.

What a fun evening. Too bad you got stopped on pirates though....did you ever find out what happened? And did you get to see any back stage stuff when getting off? That would be the only cool part of that experience.

They never did explain...truthfully, I don't think they had a clue. Mark and I had actually been backstage there when we did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour; didn't see much...it was pitch black out.

Wow an hour stuck on pirates, I would have been falling asleep too! Glad they got you off and that you were give a weeks worth of fastpasses!!

It was really hard to keep our eyes open. It wasn't a week's worth. It was actually two fastpasses each that were good for one use within a week. I should have worded that better.

Yes; I tried to muster energy, as did Cay, but it just wasn't going to work.

Hopefully a nice long sleep in for the next morning.

I somehow knew that it would be Cayley who would want to stay and close the park. I can't believe that you two were stuck on Pirates of the Caribbean for so long. But, I guess you can now say that you've been there done that.

She's a pistol that young one. And hopefully never do it again.

If Mark has an Olaf shirt, he should definitely meet A & E! We will be there September 12-17 at CBR. When are you guys going?

We hope to meet them so we can both wear our Olaf shirts. We will miss you. We arrive September 19 and depart the 26th.

I demanded they give us a FP for when the ride was up and running again!

Wow, what a night! I love POTC, but I think an hour would be streaching my love for just about anything! Thank goodness you weren't stuck in IASW! That would have been a nightmare for you! Just sayin' I would be happy as all get out to be stuck on there for a while.

If it had been IASW and the music continued, I would have been jumping overboard!

Glad that you made it to BTMRR at least before turning in! But I agree, carrying an exhausted child around that late would not have been fun! If either of my kids had started to show signs of being tired, it would have been a beeline to the bus! I was doing good to carry myself around!

And that gymnast might look thin, but she is no light load.

Thanks; it will be strange to have it empty. I'm glad you liked the anniversary pictures...they were very pleased with them. We usually get to Milwaukee once a year; we have DIS friends who live in Rachine and we usually meet them for lunch after the zoo. I used to cheer for the Packers IF they weren't playing the Bears (I was a huge Favre fan), but not anymore.

And finally, 1 HOUR on Pirates? Sheesh! So glad they gave you a week long fast pass!

As explained above, they were two fastpasses each for certain rides that we could use within a week. A whole week's worth would have been nice.

Oof, and hour on POTC? Eek. I can imagine the sound of air being let of a balloon, as your night fizzled away.

I wasn't happy; we had so many plans yet.

It was Monday, June 2. After Cayley's and my late night, we slept in a bit. I want to say I woke about 8:15 or 8:30. I know Mary had gone out the door to do some laundry for the girls. The girls started stirring and had hoped to go swimming. However, Mary came back and said the pool is closed. She asked the lifeguard why and he was not very friendly when she asked him why and then when she asked him when it would reopen. The girls hung out and played with Anna and Elsa and I did some office work and Mary was on her Ipad. We went to check on the laundry and left the girls in the room to play.

After getting the laundry back and put away, we had the girls get dressed and we went for lunch at Olivia's. At this point, I have no idea who had what. I know mine was the Pulled Pork Sandwich



And it was one of THE BEST pulled pork sandwiches I had ever had. I believe Mary had the French Dip?



One of the girls had grilled cheese (Cayley I think)



And one had chicken nuggets (Avery I think)



We finished lunch and settled the bill and headed to the front of the Hospitality House to wait for our bus:

We had a blast with those pictures.

We had some time to kill before our first ADR, so we did some shopping and some hat trying on:

Then we had a light sabre challenge:









Okay...I have to stop. Andy has a few things he wants to go over with me since I won't see him before he and Des go to the airport for Ireland tomorrow.

Loving the update, and the sassy girls picture at DHS! OKW, and Olivia's is so fantastic. That pulled pork sandwich looks good. I will have to try it though.........I'm real picky when it comes to BBQ. But hey, even at Olivia's that grilled cheese sandwich looks like a big winner too!
