I Am NOT a Bad, Bad Baby -- TR final updates 9/12

Oh canada is one of my favorite "come see us" pavilion movies.

LOVE the picture of the girls waiting for soarin! Too funny!

Stupid Judy is really good for a wee snooze. :goodvibes

Ha ha yes, I've been getting plenty of coffee during the night! However that means I don't get much sleep...not long left though so can't really complain.

How are you my friend? Hope all is well with you as well :goodvibes Hugs for Andy and Des getting their own place but I'm sure they'll be round plenty. I practically still live at my mums at weekends!

Great pics from Rafiki's planet watch. I love that you're able to pet the animals.

Mmm the goofy snacks look bigger than the actual girls! :lmao:

Aaw loving the sisterly love on day 3 <3

Whoop whoop om getting Elsa but eek on losing Cayley!

Great PP pics.

So glad you got to score an Elsa doll...too bad they were all gone when you got back. It really is crazy, isn't it?

We have yet to see the Canada Movie. I did locate the theatre though finally this year. I don't think we have ever walked back that far in there before.

Claire had her first experience with Stupid Judy this year...I don't think we'll be doing that again any time soon. :rotfl:

Finally getting caught up and there is just too much to comment on! I absolutely love the girls' Minnie outfits. They are too cute!

I'm hoping to eat at Chefs de France again in the next year. We went in 2010 and I liked it--also have the ham & cheese!

Great Update Kathy !! I haven't been to see Stupid Judy in a while either , I am thinking it should get on our Sept bucket list. It's long but if you are tired ans hot is a welcome rest !! No clue where you are going next !!!!

Thanks, Rosie. It is a welcome rest and a quick nap.

Back from Alaska and all caught up. You are doing a marvelous job on the report! :)

Thank you, Mary. Any pictures you want to post?

Awww your other "baby" is leaving the nest! Those are adorable anniversary photos of the two of them. I'm not looking forward to being an empty nester. If I could bribe some of my kids to move back in I would but I don't think their spouses would appreciate that! :lmao:

Yes, my other "baby" is leaving me. He will start moving his stuff out August 3, and officially be gone September 1. I'd love to bribe them all to live with us.

Speaking of adorable, the girls were so cute in their little outfits for the Character Spot. I don't think I've ever seen a 5 minute wait there. I'd definitely make a stop for that short of a wait.

Aren't they, though? And they have a FP+ for that so I'm not sure what's up with the 5 minute wait.

I gotta say that I'm not completely shocked that the Frozen dolls sold out so quickly. If people are willing to stand in line 3+ hours to see those gals then I'm sure there's an obsession with the dolls too. Bummer that didn't work out. At least Cayley got the perfect present!

I don't know anyone personally who would be willing to stand in line for 3 hours for anything.

Isn't the Ellen ride where you go for a nap? I thought it was. ;)

Yes, yes it is.

Oh My Goodness - Cuteness overload is rught! :cutie::cutie::cutie: Adorable CS pics! I don't think I've ever managed to see where CS is :confused3

The Character Spot is in one of the two buildings that you walk between to go from Mission to The Land.

I know this is silly, but I love Stupid Judy! I like to surprise a newbie with the way the theatre turns into a ride.:rotfl2:

I do too; it cracks me up. My kids still remember that ride from their earlier trips.

Oh, and I'm so happy the girls found their Anna and Elsa dolls

Me too. :goodvibes

I would have had to meet you at Living With the Land, O Canada and Soarin would have had me green and sick. I cannot do IMAX of any kind.

That's too bad, Lorrie.

I like the Nemo ride but I love the pavilion more. I can spend a great deal of time there.

Sometimes it is very hard getting Avery out of there.

Stupid Judy, love that. Unfortunately I never make it past the dinosaurs. My DGS Jay said I embarrassed him last time we were on it - I was snoring and people were looking. I laughed and said I wasn't the only one. :lmao:

I've heard lots of people snoring on that attraction.

Livin with the Land, Soarin, Nemo, Ellen.... I want to be in Epcot NOW! Thankfully you didn't add Spaceship earth into that list or else I would have book a plane ticket :rotfl:

I think we had hit that first thing in the a.m. ;)

Wow, you all made some good use of your Epcot time...getting LOTS of fun in! :goodvibes Soooo, Universe of Energy was never a favorite ride growing up. With that comes confession time... my DH and kids have never been on it, and I have not seen it since it became Ellen's Energy. I always LOVED the last part of it...just not the first two hours or however long that whole speil on energy saving/ tree hugging stuff lasts. :rolleyes2

And the ending is different now so you wouldn't know what to expect.

And those outfits the girls wore!!!! pixiedust: Your lunch at Chefs looks so delicious... We love Chefs de France. So much so, that we requested one of the recipes, and love to make it on special occasions (Beef Spare Ribs). Yum! :goodvibes

Oooh...I've never had the Beef Spare Ribs (I always go with the ham and cheese). They are that good that you got the recepe? I may have to try them next time we eat there.

Hmm.. Somewhere along the way I missed an update. Glad Cayley got her doll - those suckers go quick!!!

They sure do, Darla.

You guys sure fit a lot into your Epcot day so far!

We got a lot accomplished...I was glad in case we couldn't fit it all in on the next day at Epcot.

what a fun and productive Epcot morning!

We really did get a lot done.

I LOVE the girls outfits today and some seriously cute photos. :cool1: for finding Anna, (and then Elsa too) I am glad to see they aren't too old for dolls yet.

They really looked adorable in those outfits; and so happy that Cayley spied the dolls.

I've never thought of that room as being the "back" room, it's the only room I've ever been seated in and I love it, as you can see outside, it feels so much more french bistro to me. I always assumed that one was requested more but I've no idea! Lunch looked really good, I wish I was having that today.

I guess since we have always had a table in the front window to watch the entertainment, that I called the room we were put into the "back" room. I must say it did not feel as "congested" back there.

I've still never seen Ellen, or the movie in Canada so really enjoyed my virtual tour.

I'm glad I could help. :)

Yes yes yes Cuteness overload!!! then ended with "stupid Judy"

The cuteness was so fun; love Stupid Judy.

You had quite a AK Busy day! you think i am bad!!! Phew! that was a lot!

We didn't get quite as much done as we could have, but we had another day there yet.

always rains in Epcot.

I've noticed that when Mark and I go too.

love the fact you always stop for amazing drinks. and Mary's Apple Looks AWESOME! Girls look as if they were enjoying theirs as well!!! :rotfl2:

I don't drink as a whole, so I enjoy it while on vacation.

So who has the better soup? BOG or Chef's???

CHEF's (but I do like the one at BOG too).

love your report!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks, Mo.

ah - rain always makes things, um, interesting ... but at least you got to do some things you might normally skip. And good job managing those massive crowds for O Canada :rotfl:

Yes, the rain makes it interesting. I think I'm going to have to pack our Mickey ponchos this time since Mark is no longer working at his job to get us our cheap ones. No love for O Canada?

Looks like you hit up a number of fun rides in a short period of time which is good.

Those FP+ come in handy.

I'll guess going to MK, but just a guess

Could be that you are right? You'll have to wait to find out AFTER we go to dinner.

Sorry it's taking me so long to post. I can only catch up on Dis on weekends, so sometimes I am far behind.

No worries, Jen. Just glad you are here.

The girls are so cute.. and those outfits... adorable!

::yes::::yes:: they are.

Great pics with the characters.

Thank you.

Elsa doll.. yahoo! :cheer2: That is all my daughter wants when we go in September, so hopefully we will be able to find one. :scared1:

Oh I hope you find one.

We didn't have the greatest experience at Le Chef's last time we went, so it will be a while before we go back. It wasn't horrible, so we will be back one day just not anytime soon.

That was our experience with Biergarten and Tusker House. We may go back...but not for a long time.

Great updates, thanks for sharing!

Jen B. (new FB friend):grouphug:

Thank you, Jen...my new FB friend. :)

Great pictures, fun update! :cool1:

Thanks, Katie.

I don't think I have ever done the Canada show either, come to think of it. On this solo trip I am going to make sure and take plenty of time around the World Showcase, and I want to hit all the country's movies / attractions so I will be sure and see it.

I hope you do; even though you can't sit in Canada, I really enjoy it.

The girls, as always, are too cute.

Ssssh....I think we better stop telling them.

We did Ellen last year, too, because we hadn't done it in a while. I don't know why they don't put in something else (but I think that about Stitch, too :rotfl:). It's a nice place, though, to take a snooze and rest for a while.

I enjoy Ellen every other trip. But it could certainly use "something." I think they need to totally tear down Stitch and start from scratch with something else.

Another fun update! In all of our trips to Walt Disney World, we have never seen the show in Canada. Don't you have to stand the entire time? How's John supposed to nap if he has to stand? :rotfl:

Yes, definitely NOT the place for John unless you leave him in the lobby. :lmao::lmao:

Lots of fun in Epcot! Next time I check in on this report, I will be very, very close to Epcot. ;) See you on FB, and I will probably check in here during a nice Florida afternoon thunderstorm next week when we are all cozied up in the room. :goodvibes

Caren, your trip is almost here. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for you. I know this is going to be your best ever! Let's hope you don't get too many Florida afternoon thunderstorms. :flower3:

:eek::faint:

Oh stop it now. :lmao:

:cool1::woohoo:

Funny, Mark.

Wait, what?

Ah. Frozen merchandise. Now I get it.

Unbelieveable how that Frozen thing is still going so strong.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Glad you enjoyed the cuteness overload.

Man, they are just printing money with those dolls.

Yes they are!

This is officially the new best picture on the DISboards. :rotfl2::rotfl:

I almost didn't post it, but I couldn't stop laughing...I love it too.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: I love your name for this. I'm going to petition Disney to change this to Stupid Judy's Energy Adventure.

Let me know how that works.

What a great start to your day, you ladies got a lot done.

Thanks; we did get a lot done.

Have never seen O Canada, I suspect that will change on one of our next two trips.

I love all three, but Martin Short just cracks me up in this one.

My boys love Nemo and they love to watch the dolphins after, but where do we go to see those manatees? That would be cool to surprise them with on the next trip.

The manatees are on the second floor off in a separate tank. There is always a CM there monitoring them (they are both rescues).

Love their before Soarin' picture :goodvibes

Those girls bring a smile to my face every day with their silliness.

Oh I cant wait to see where you all are headed next popcorn::

Coming up soon (I don't feel like working today so I'm going to do an update after I eat my lunch).

What a great Epcot morning -- you guys were very productive!! :goodvibes

Thanks, Julie.

Oh canada is one of my favorite "come see us" pavilion movies.

Me too!

LOVE the picture of the girls waiting for soarin! Too funny!

They are a hoot!

Stupid Judy is really good for a wee snooze. :goodvibes

We all need a snooze at Disney (I get mine at Carousel of Progress).

Ha ha yes, I've been getting plenty of coffee during the night! However that means I don't get much sleep...not long left though so can't really complain.

Take care of yourself!

How are you my friend? Hope all is well with you as well :goodvibes Hugs for Andy and Des getting their own place but I'm sure they'll be round plenty. I practically still live at my mums at weekends!

I'm doing okay; glad to have the stuff done with the severance and now can spend more timne adjusting our trips and getting the kids settled. They are welcome to come stay any timen with us.

Great pics from Rafiki's planet watch. I love that you're able to pet the animals.

The goats you can; sometimes the cow is up close to his pen fence and you can pet him too.

Mmm the goofy snacks look bigger than the actual girls! :lmao:

Yes they do!

Aaw loving the sisterly love on day 3 <3

They can be quite lovey; then there are days................

Whoop whoop om getting Elsa but eek on losing Cayley!

Thankfully she wasn't missing for long.

Great PP pics.

Thank you, my friend.

So glad you got to score an Elsa doll...too bad they were all gone when you got back. It really is crazy, isn't it?

I've never seen anything like it.

We have yet to see the Canada Movie. I did locate the theatre though finally this year. I don't think we have ever walked back that far in there before.

Really? We always go back there to get pictures of the waterfall.

Claire had her first experience with Stupid Judy this year...I don't think we'll be doing that again any time soon. :rotfl:

It's a long attraction.

Finally getting caught up and there is just too much to comment on! I absolutely love the girls' Minnie outfits. They are too cute!

I've gone a little crazy with the updates. Those outfits were perfect for those girls.

I'm hoping to eat at Chefs de France again in the next year. We went in 2010 and I liked it--also have the ham & cheese!

I hope you get back next year. :)

Oh the rain! That was the wonderful rain that kept us off of Test Track that day. Glad you were able to duck into O Canada and escape it. We didn't make it to one WS movie in all the time that we were in Epcot!

We walked by Ellen many times and it was so dead outside we were convinced it was closed!:lmao:

I didn't push it because I almost fell asleep at home watching the YouTube video of it, but it seems like a nice place to take a nap.;)

We had just finished sitting and watching Stupid Judy and it was time to start heading over to our next destination. Just as soon as we were close to the monorail, the skies decided to open yet again. Luckily, there was a bit of cover, but it doesn't help when the wind is blowing.

Waiting on the monorail:

Stop taking pictures of me:

Here comes our ride:

Picture out the window of our monorail:

There's our next one:

And this is what we saw from ride number two:

Our plans for later in the evening were not looking good.

But for now, we had somewhere inside where it was dry and warm to be.

First stop, a photo op:

I stopped in the store here to get some dry socks. My shoes dried pretty quick, but my socks were thoroughly drenched and I can't stand that. Also, Cayley wanted to change her outfit for the evening.

We had a little time to kill and it had stopped raining so we took a peek outside:

Then it was time to check in for our ADR. We still had to wait about ten minutes (although I don't know why as there were plenty of empty tables).

Before long, I was ordering this (I'm sure it will help you figure out where we were dining since I totally failed to take a picture of the sign):

If you guessed Kona, you would be right. I LOVE their pressed pot coffee. And why would I be ordering coffee at 5:30 at night? Because if our plans held out, it was going to be a very long evening.

Cayley's dinner:

My grilled Kona Coffee-rubbed Pork Chop

HEAVEN ON A PLATE. Seriously, my favorite meal of the trip.

Mary's steak:

If I'm not mistaken, Avery shared with Mary.

And, despite being full, there is always room for dessert:

Someone decorating her lip:

With full tummies, we headed outside to see what the weather looked like and if we could continue on with our plans. While at the Polynesian, it is always a good idea to get some photos because it truly is a beautiful resort:

IGNORE the hair in this photo...we got soaked a few times:

Flowers at the Poly:

Bye bye Poly...I HATE what they hgave done to you.

Up next, will the rain hold off so we can continue with our plans for the evening?

Oh the rain! That was the wonderful rain that kept us off of Test Track that day. Glad you were able to duck into O Canada and escape it. We didn't make it to one WS movie in all the time that we were in Epcot!

We walked by Ellen many times and it was so dead outside we were convinced it was closed!:lmao:

I didn't push it because I almost fell asleep at home watching the YouTube video of it, but it seems like a nice place to take a nap.;)

That was horrid rain and I remember that being your Test Track day. :(

It's always dead outside of Ellen...the indoor holding area holds a lot of people. Yes, it's a good place for a nap, but it is also very educational.

ah, we love Kona - and good call getting the coffee press even at dinner!

I agree how photogenic the Poly is. I hope that the redo will still be as lovely - just different .... but I fear the loss of the waterfall will just never be forgotten and we will always just think about what "was"

Oh, and it's not that I don't like O' Canada I was just commenting that there was next to no one in the picture so at least in that shot it looked very empty :goodvibes

Those spare ribs at Chefs really are good. Of course the recipe makes a HUGE batch. :scared: Did I half the recipe or quarter it when I made them at home? :confused3 OF COURSE NOT! :sad2: So, for the bargain price of about $50 to make just the entree, we had them for Father's Day that year...and we ate them for about a week after that. :crazy2: But with the amount of wine it called for, they preserved quite well. :rolleyes1

The outfits those girls had to wear are just so adorable! LOVE the star spangled outfit too! :goodvibes

Kona is definitely on my list of must try's at Disney. And the pressed pot of Kona coffee, too! :thumbsup2 Is that an entire BULB of garlic on Mary's plate for garnish??? I am guessing the name of the entree she ordered had the word GARLIC in it! :lmao: It does look good, though! :)

So, I know they have walled off the fountains in the Poly for construction...but they don't plan to eliminate them all together do they? That would just be so terrible! Do they KNOW how many folks use those gorgeous fountains for pictures? Please don't do it Disney!

We ate Kona on our trip too. This was our first time. I can't wait to go back again one day. It was so delicious. Your food looks amazing. Sorry about all the rain! It's really a bummer when that happens. I hope it stays away the rest of the night.

I have been to Disney in the monsoons they call rain. Not always fun although the kids liked it.

Kona looks really good. I will have to add that to the places to try. I loved visiting the Poly but am afraid to see what they have done to it.

Always catching up!

The girl's dresses are too cute!!

I'm absolutely drooooling over that coffee rubbed pork chop. We were booked at the Poly for our trip this year but the all the construction really just proved to be too much and we switched! Its crazy to me that they are tearing sooo much of it up but keeping it open.

Rain rain rain!:crazy2:

Love the photos of Cayley! :littleangel: No more photos please!

Yumm Kona! I wish we had eaten there that night instead of Ohana....

We love Kona Cafe! I just had the steak last year. Mine came with rice and brocolini. Do you know if Mary made some substitutions? Hers looks better with the potatoes and garlic.

That waterfall will be so missed at the Poly. Oh, well...

I hope the rain didn't mess up your evening plans. Florida rains have a way of getting over quickly.

I know I've mentioned this before, but you have such a great smile. You smile like you really mean it.

Rain in Florida? Again? Who knew? :lmao: I hate getting stuck in those down pours! I sure hope it let up for y'all in the evening. I have yet to eat at Kona but, man o man what a huge garlic bulb on the plate with the steak! Maybe that is their way of keeping all of the vampires away from the rare steaks? :rotfl:
