I am new to this board.

Well, I have just discovered this forum and I am thrilled to be reading about other Canucks headed to see the mouse. I went to WDW for my first time in Oct 2003. Believe it or not I did not want to go and only let my wife book us in for 5 days (4 nights). By the 3rd day, I didn't want to go home. We have since booked another trip this year for Nov 11 to the 18th. Staying Pop Century and I can't wait.

Thanks Canadave...did you guys enjoy Pop Century. We stayed at All Star Sports last year, and what I understand Pop Century is probably pretty close to that. Not too fancy, but hey you are pretty much there to just sleep and relax a little. The parks are where it's at.

Blusk...as you can see, we've previously stayed in the other 2 All Stars (movies and music), and yes PC is pretty much the same idea...and like you, we used the resort mainly for a sleep and a bit of down time...the pools and the atmosphere were just right for us. The rooms are pretty well the same as the All Stars and the food court, store, pools etc are very similar. I did prefer the location of PC to the AS's as it was a little more central...and being brand new, everything was in excellent condition. Make sure you walk the grounds and check out the giant icons...very cool...and nostalgic too.
We enjoyed our stay at PC, but ASMovies would probably be our preference of the values...mainly because the decor is Disney, Disney!!
What decade are you staying at? We did the 50's and for us they worked out to be the best location...close to parking, pools, food court, etc.

I am not sure what area we are staying at yet, the TA hasn't told us that yet. I think we find that out the next time we go in to see her.

You may want to check out a map of the resort and have your TA request your preferred decade. Also a few days before you leave you can fax the room controller at the PC and remind them of your requests. You may not always get the area desired, but they usually try to accomodate...we had requested the 50's, ground floor, facing the pool...and we got all 3 .
