I am losing my mind ! total vaction point summary ? Help !

I have a sept. use year and i am still in my 2006 sept. use year until sept. then i will be in my 2007 sept. use year.

my questions is..... when i look on the dvc site and look at my "total vaction point summary' it doesnt show my 2006 use year. it shows my 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010. In my 2007 use year, it actually shows activity of points for my 2006 year. the same with 2008 use year, shows my 2007 activity (how many points i have left). then when i go to a different page, i think contract details, it shows 2006, 2007 and 2008. and on that page my points are the right amount that i should have for each use year.

i called dvc and they really didnt have an answer why my points for 2006 show in my 2007 use year summary,
does anyone know why ?

its pretty scarry to see points gone from my 2008 use year when i havent even had a chance to borrows

please tell me im not losing my mind or is it a dvc glinch or should dvc make it more clearer and the summaries should read 2006-2007 use year, 2007-2008 use year

If you are not talking about an AKV contract, then you need to investigate this further. The AKV contracts were showing up wierd on the web site awhile back, but mine straightened itself out once I got past the first day of my use year.

I just checked my account on the member website. I, too, have a Sept use year, and my account shows 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. All seems normal. I think you need to pursue this.

I agree with MDMmim. I have a September use year, and 2006 shows up completely on my account on the website.

I'm guessing you own points at AKV because this is known bug in the software that produces the Point Summary display. The display labeled "2007" is actually your 2006 points for non-AKV resorts plus the 2007 data for AKV. The display labeled "2008" is actually the 2007 UY data for non-AKV resorts plus the 2008 AKV data, and so on. If you look at the contract detail display, everything is displayed correctly, except for the AKV display which shows the resort as "null".

The good news is, the underlying data is correct! But that also means that if you call MS about this, they won't understand the problem because everything looks correct on their screens.

This bug has been reported to MS numerous times, along with requests that they please pass it along to the department that maintains the website. It self corrects once your UY starts. I do hope they fix it rather than just letting the clock run out.

As Diane said, if you don't own an AKV contract, then you have some other problem!

My point summary display is incorrect also, but if I break it down into my 2 contracts the info is correct.

Thank you, and I do own at AKV I would have not really payed attention to my future use years, except i had made so many ressie changes for my easter trip (last min trip) and then a few days for oct., MS
mention to borrow points from my 2008 uses year and i said, no. I didnt need to borrow points, i should have plenty of points from my 2006/2007. I wanted to make sure no points were borrowed. so, you could imagine when i seen points gone from my 2008 UY.
Thank you all, i am not losing my mind. But i think other dvc members should beware of the glinch.

I'm relieved to hear you own at AKV because I really didn't want to hear there was yet another problem with the website! I do hope they fix this because a lot of us check our points on the website and it's causing many concerned members to call MS to ask about the true state of their points.
