I am just as excited to stay at POP.....

We are taking a quick trip in November and I am switching from BWI to POP. After our stay last February it is hard to justify the extra when it's just me and the kids. My sister may also come, and I really wanted to show her the ultimate Disney trip by taking her to a deluxe. Our trip is 3 1/2 days though, so we'd hardly ever be there. I'm not disappointed in the switch at all and I know the kids aren't!

I totally LOVED staying at the POP! It was a fun place to stay. Sure it ain't no Floridian resort but then look at the COST between the two.... :scared: :scared1: The CM there were nice and helpful. Even when I had to get a new keycard as mine got wiped by a teeny magnet on my wallet. That I didn't like; these cards were more magnet-sensitive than the standard room key is.

I was able to walk around the resort on the last day and take pics before heading to the park for fun.

The food court does get rather packed during peak mealtimes (breakfast for me).

We stayed at Pop Century when we visited WDW a week ago and really enjoyed it. I was somewhat leery of staying at a value resort and didn't have very high expectations, but I would definitely stay there again. Our six-year-old son enjoyed all of the theming and had to try out all of the pools. We stayed in the 50's section, and it was definitely worth paying a little extra for a "preferred room" since it's a long hike from the main building to the 80's and 90's sections. The Everything Pop food court has a surprisingly good and varied selection of menu items.

:thumbsup2 That's what I like to hear! Honestly, we have stayed in a few values, CBR, & GF. I feel each resort has something different ot offer. This is my BIL & SIL's first trip and we really want to stay in the same hotel as them. hey'll be happy and my kids will be happy.

Anyway, what about the drinks? I know I heard something about a drink made with vanilla vodka.....

we also stayed at POP in 2004, 2005 and again this coming Sept, I have enjoyed myself very much at POP and never have had one complant.

I have stayed at the CR and WL and enjoyed myself no more or no less, as long as i'm in the park having a good time and at the end of the day, a shower and a bed.................its all good..............

Brooke:)
