I used to be cool too. And, I was a pretty good dancer. But according to my dd11, I'm not cool, I can't dance, I don't know what's in style. Basically, I don't know anything.

The other day I was watching her IM friends and they all have "bestie girlz" or "besties" with a list of names after it on their pros (umm, that's profile for us dumb moms) I asked what that was and I got the sigh, the eye roll and "that's a list of who your best friends are, mom" When I was a kid we just called them best friends. Heh, I bet my dd doesn't know what a "flatleaver" is. Anyone remember that? Yeah, we had our cool lingo too back in the day.
