I am getting Married....

Yippy!!!

Everything finally clicked and we found an idea that we both fell in love with.

We want to get married on a cruise at St.Thomas USVI...

I am in the process now of learning how to go about this. We have unoffically informed about 15 people that we want to come with us, so that they have time to plan and save for it. We will send out formal save the dates and then inviations when we narrow down the date. We want to take a RCL cruise out of San Juan on Oct 10, 2004 and the first day is at St. Thomas on Oct. 11, 2004. I am waiting to hear from Royal Romance if that date is available.

Has anyone done this? How should I go about starting to plan this!!!

I got married last summer on DCL. Our ceremony took place on CC, but we were officially married in Fl. I am not sure if that is just a Disney thing or not, but it is something that you might want to keep in mind. I would think you would probably want a US marraige license. Our package included a wedding planner, as I am sure yours will also. We looked into several cruise lines, but in the end picked Disney. If you have any other ?'s you think I might be able to help with, feel free to ask. It was an AMAZING experience.

Congrats!! When I saw your post I had to laugh. We are getting married on the very same day. Our wedding will be on the beach in Puerto Rico. St. Thomas is only 30 some miles from here. If you need me to look into anything down this way let me know, I would be happy to help!!
