Finally - the day has arrived and is over! I am referring to the Northern Ohio "Walk for Wishes" at the Cleveland Zoo. What a blast!
We got to get in before the zoo was even open! My DH and DS were interviewed for TV - can't wait to see them on TV tonight! There were about 5 other wish families there, and about 300 walkers and their families too. I have no idea yet how much was raised - personally our family raised over $1,000.
It was a 5 K walk... and what a great place to do it! Everywhere we looked we saw people having fun. To all those people who gave up their Saturday morning, and money out of their pockets to help give kids Wishes... thanks. I know we appreciated our wish very much.
