So now I have a regular 1 bedroom night one and a handicapped studio night 2. Not ideal but I did want the two nights because I didnt want to go to spa and have to go home after or drive late after dinner. I suppose I dont really need to unpack. There's still time but I really wish I could just get a regular studio for two nights

Thank you, unfortunately I had to cancel vgc so happy for whoever got it because now im booking last minute Aulani for this month!

Im at 5 nights in an island garden studio and 3 nights in a 1 bedroom ocean view. All consecutive with studio first so im really happy with what I got going!

@VGCgroupie pointed out the bright side of moving into a one bedroom after for the laundry especially at this water heavy resort!

Anyways I still havent given up trying to downgrade the 1 bedroom ov! Stalk till you drop!!! Did this in 2 days i will brag haha! Felt a little dizzy by the end of the night!

Studio for 3-4 days followed by 1bed is definitely the way to go if you have to split it. You can enjoy the resort while you’re up early adjusting to time change and then the last few days chillax on your balcony enjoying the extra space (and running laundry).

A one bedroom resort popped up beforehand for three nights grrr I think im better off staying with my little island garden and taking another vacation later it would be nice tho the 1 bedroom but im low on points again .

Its also before the studio which is not good. Im now at 6 nights with my island garden and two nights left to complete so im all in w the studio. I got a one bedroom for a night before and after hopefully I can change that!

I can’t believe we got our VGC booking this morning! First time ever trying to book that resort at 7 months.

About 10pm last night we decided on moving our Sept 2027 DL trip to Sept 2026. Coming from the East Coast we wanted 4 nights in a 1BR or 2 studios. When I checked last night the only availability with a string of 4 nights was VGC 1BR. Fine!

But it was starting Sept 9th, which meant trying our luck with the 8am slots. Figured we had less than 50% shot.

Been playing dvc slots the last few days to change our upcoming reservation from SSR to FW cabins so that we can bring our dog. Partial success but had to buy one night cash. Pretty pleased with the outcome!
