I am and idiot and need help

I am technologically challenged and have trying to added a banner to my signature for two days. I went to Mickey Path and made the banner and went to CP and added it. What I get on my signature on a post is the url address and not the banner. What am I doing wrong? I truly do not want to ask DD since she will definately have the laugh of the day.

Go back to the mickeypath email you received. You have to copy and paste all three lines in the box from the page in that email. I believe you can use the text in the first box. There is a signatures test thread you can try as well.

Go to your signature and put an image tag directly in front of the URL

Thank you so much. I think it is working now. I used Minder's suggestion.

Now I am going to try and attach it to my regular email signature.
