I hope someone here can help me. When I first started digitally scrapbooking in Photoshop cs2, I made a couple of pages 8x8. But when I learned that I could make 12x12 and resize them down to 8x8 if I chose to print that way, I created a new 12x12 preset to use when I open a new document to make a page. The problem is that when I created this new preset, dummy me forgot to change the resolution to 300, so now I have about 50 pages at 12x12 with 72dpi. If I go to image size and change the resolution, it makes the page like, 3x3. What can I do?? Do I have to start over on every page????

Unfortunately, you can't go bigger without loss of quality. The best way to see if it will look good, is to resize it to the size you want, and then view it at 100%. Scroll around every area of the page and see how it looks, if it looks ok you are ok, otherwise gotta restart.

I think your pages should print ok at 72 dpi. Not great but ok. I'm sorry!! I learned in the beginning to always check my image size to make sure I'm working at 300 dpi. But now I usually just open the paper I'm using for my background and just start building right on top of it!

Anyway - just try printing one of your 12x12s as an 8x8 at the 72 dpi and see if it looks horrible. I doubt that it will. I mean, it might not be as clear and nice as a 300 dpi LO but its not going to look TOO bad.

I'm sorry, I don't know of a way to go up in resolution either.:confused3 I'll bet they won't be that bad though- just not as crisp as 300 dpi.

That is pretty much what I thought. I have not decided what to do. I hate to recreate all, but I hate to spend $$ to print and not be satisfied. kwim?

Have you looked at your pages on your computer at 100%? That will tell you how they will look printed.
