I was last there on sunday for their scrapbooking event. It was my THIRD trip that week and the kids were looking for water color sets. I wanted to use my 50% coupon (I bought one of the CK idea books that sell for $16.95) and check out what they were doing. The scrapbook tables were crowded so I just asked for the make and takes to take home - I got two and I haven't even opened them yet.
ANYHOW.....while browsing over near the rubber stamps I noticed that they were clearing a ton of them out. I panicked and thought they were removing ALL the stamps. But then I remembered that PSX was going out of business since they couldn't find new owners and maybe they are taking all those stamps down since once they sold they couldn't replenish them...?? I tried talking with the girl who was working but she was one of the weekend crew and not one of the friendly regulars so I just got "the look" from her and no information. (How could she not be happy while handling all those stamps??
) She did tell me that they were told to take them all down and then put up boxes of new ones - and I saw the boxes stacked nearby. I was tempted to rip them open to check them out but decided against that. So now I have to wait for my next trip to see what new stamps are there!
Anyone elses ACM getting new stamp stuff?? They also said they were getting new scrapbooking stuff but didn't say what..
