I've had my PS's done since 90 days out (well I began them then, and modified them MANY times), my itinerary has been finished for at least a month with minor modifications here and there. I didn't even need to make any major changes when the April hours finally came out ...So why is it that in the past week I have wanted to completely change the entire plan SEVERAL times! I think I'd better start packing to give myself something to do!

I must also confess...

I have 15 days of nothing but fun planned for Aug '05 since Aug '04!

My plan has & will contine to be tweaked until I consider it perfect & foolproof.

I am not ashamed of this but am aware my DF thinks I am slightly crazy (isn't that why he loves me?) However he will take back all snide remarks once the plan is in full swing and we are having a holiday of a lifetime.

Is it too early to pack yet....?

I'm glad to know that I am not alone. I am driving my husband crazy b/c I keep changing things to make them "better". I have a few days that I don't mess with but the other days are open the changes! And they been changed a few times and will probably continue to be until we get there and it is out of my hands!

I am going with my sister (20) and our mutual friend (20). They just know that we are getting the 6 day hopper, going to Universal 1 day, Relaxin' on the Saturday we are there. I am NOT giving them ANY more detail then that, just incase there are any changes I make to our itinerary! Plus it gives them the worry free vacation, and me the fun of planning it all! Its mine 5 time, and my sister 4th time there, our first time staying on property. It will be our friends first time down! So I am trying to make it as awesome as possible for her! I can't wait! May 19 could not come any sooner!

Well Im here to plan my family's trip that will happen sometime in 2006. We havent been to WDW since 2000, and I am feeling so lost because I didn't keep up with anything since then. I don't even know what month we are going in (but it won't be before june because of school). But Im so glad these boards are here, to help me catch up on all the stuff thats changed since 2000.

Question: When you say you have it all planned, what exactly do you mean? i.e., How specific do you plan--just which park/which day, with p.s.'s, or do you have a hour by hour plan? Just wondering how far gone I am...

I knew there were others out there! My DH calls me the "Quartermaster" and says I have more fun planning the trip than taking it (well . . . ).

Obviously, I'm not the spontaneous type, but think that once your plans (and contingency plans) are in place; you can sit back and enjoy.

Anyone else have a gripe with the people who "hog" the PS system with multiple PS's and have no intention of honoring them? I think WDW should institute a policy where your PS's need to be at least 3 hours apart to open up the seating at crowded times.

Hello my name is Lesley and I am a Disney planning addict. I drive my family nuts because I look for reasons to call Disney daily. I think I actually go through withdrawl if I can't call them over something each day. I have my P.S's set for our trip and it's stil 58 days away. I called yesterday and changed one P.S. due to June EMH's being released, I was obsessed looking for codes but once I got that, applied it and changed from POP to WL I am out of things to do. : )

I have that gripe. I am always sure to cancel my previous PS when making a new one, I wish others would have the same curtosy. I heard that Disney will randomly cancel one of your PS's if you have more than once scheduled at a time for the same day/meal but I don't think they actually do that, I think it may be a scare tactic. I wish they would though because then maybe I could get some of the P.S's I wanted.

so that is a good thing, charitable right, it's not an addiction if you are helping someone else right? Boy do I have a problem.

Hi, My name is Janet and I am a Disney Planning aholic too! We're 18 days away from our next trip!

Additions of Spectro parade and extended park hours announced last week gave me another flurry of activity. Now I'm starting to focus on clothing! What might I need to buy for the kids and myself (dh is all set). What surprises am I bringing to keep the kids entertained on the plane...in lines, etc. Everything is speeding up now that we're under 20 days!!!! I love it!

And to Disney DottyI basically have all sit down meals PS's, at least one a day. The park to start the day, park to end the day, which shows to see which days. While trying to utilizing some morning EMH hours and a couple evening ones. I also have 3-4 half days open for "freetime". That's it. Not hour to hour, park plan of attack is in my head...I guess I do it because don't want to have to stress and have to "think" while on vacation!

Uh-oh just caught a thread that last week of April hours were just changed...need to check that out..changes may need to be made!

I'm hopeless!
