I'm a line cutter so sue me.

If we're in line for Haunted Mansion, Safari or Muppets and you don't move along, then we're gonna pass you up. Same with Toy Story Mania. If you have to stop and take pictures of every detail then I'm gonna get past you so you can take your time.

Sound ok to everyone? LOL

Regular lines no, but those where you end up in a mass at the end, yeah, if you don't move up then I will. Oh the looks we've gotten from people! Too bad!

Sorry but if people stop to take a pic well before the end of a line in a que that is meant for photo ops I disagree with you. So you wait a second to move forward and do more waiting- so what?

If the line is ending that is a different story.

How does one cut in line at the muppets? Doesn't everyone see the show at the same time anyway? :confused3

Why the need to :stir:

Please fill in all available spaces.:worship: Who am I to argue with a all knowing and seeing CM.

I'm different...if there is a long line in front on me & the folks ahead of me pause to take a photo..I really don't care because moving up a few feet at that moment isn't really getting me somewhere.
if someone had to pass me up because I'd stopped to take a photo myself...I'd just smile & let them pass. I like seeing folks having fun while they wait. It just passes the time & makes life more fun!

Fill in all available spaces??? Fine. But when someone stops to take a photo at Buzz or TSM? Nope, sorry but that's rude. There are built in spots where photo taking is to be expected. Is it going to kill anyone to stop for the 15 seconds it takes someone to snap a photo?? Sheesh.
I know that while in line for Haunted Mansion in April, it was the first time we had been in the new que. And we stopped to take photos. Yes, sometimes, if we wanted a particular shot, we told others to go past. But generally speaking, it wasn't an issue....took the photo quickly and kept moving. No one seemed to be perturbed at all. In fact, most of the people that we told to just go around us told us no, they were fine.

Aaactually this is more me than anything. I love letting people who seem to be in a hurry pass me but there are times when I'm NOT wanting to wait so sometimes when I'm in those kinds of lines I'll move ahead. I don't like standing still I think.

15 seconds? It's usually much longer and more putzy than that. So often people have to set up the shot, make sure their hair looks nice....you get my drift. I think the built in spots are similar to passing lanes. :goodvibes

By the way the new queue for Haunted Mansion looks pretty cool! Is everything there up and running now?

We got passed in line at TSM when we took a pic. No problem at all- we weren't waiting long anyhow. We later passed a very large group who each seemed to be having their pics taken with Mr. Potato Head. I was hesitant to pass them but they were taking a looong time.

Now that I think back on it, one of the group members seemed to try to stand in front of me to block my way but since I am oblivious and just go along minding my own business- and at that time my business was to move forward with the rest of the herd- I just walked around him and went on. :rotfl:

I agree with this. On a ride like toy story or buzz you are basically still going to be waiting in line after you take the photo and start moving. It's not like there are empty rides going by while someone shoots their photo. So when I catch up to the line after taking my picture and see you are now in front of me waiting in line, it would kinda tick me off.

Doing the thing where they tell you to fill in the space is a different story and fine in my book.

I agree with you on this. It's one thing if I tell someone behind me to go ahead because we'll be a minute taking pictures. It's another thing entirely for you to just hop in front of me. I think I would be a little irritated...

lol..... In a hurry to, hurry up and wait, huh?

Why would anyone be in a rush...... to..... go..... no...... where?

Seems really silly to me. But what do I know? I just have patience and understanding.

For a line with a "stall" where they say "fill in the available space" then yes, every person for themselves (within reason). For example, the recording studio at RnR or the library of ToT.

On the other hand, a single line- no way. An example- after the studio at RnR: if the person in front of you pauses for whatever reason and a space about 10 feet long develops, that is still no reason to move ahead of them. Taking a picture in TSM- you should wait (again, within reason).

Think about it- if you are in a long line and someone stops for even 30 seconds (gasp) to take a picture of the family- if they get back up to the rest of the line, does it cause you to miss even one ride vehicle? Does it cause you to start the ride even 1 second later? Not if they rejoin the line before it reaches the loading area. They could stop 10 feet within the entrance, wait 45 minutes, then run to the rest of the line 5 seconds before it reaches the CM organizing the loading and it still wouldn't cause the people behind them to wait even a second longer. Would be weird and kind of irritating, but the wait would be the same.

A family pausing for a picture in a single line is no reason to skip them. Remember, even though you have been through this line 10 times, this is their first time and they should be allowed to enjoy it without being skipped- giving you a shorter wait and making their wait longer.

Most people don't brag about being rude, crude, and socially unacceptable, but if you want to, go ahead.

Just a wee bit overdramatic?

I don't think I've ever been rude, crude or behaved socially unacceptable at WDW or anywhere else for that matter. I'm just gonna calmly and quietly move past you if you're taking your sweet time taking pictures or otherwise standing still oblivious to your surroundings. LOL
