I am a bit worried about the Travel Agent we are using...

We are going with a huge group of extended family. We realized that we all had different dates for the start of our trip. I looked and I had two emails with two different dates. I called and the TA got really huffy and rude with me and then tried to blame my mom and said she was playing around with the dates which isn't true. But, we got that worked out and we are all going on the same day.

My parents upgraded their room, but are still staying at the Port Orleans resort. With the price increase, she thought she should get some kind of compensation because she increased to a different category, but is not choosing the hotel that comes with that increase. Again, the TA got really rude and huffy with me. Then she cut me off and said she would call me back and never did.

I emailed her this morning.

Maybe you should call the office and ask for the office supervioser and let them know what is going on and ask if someone else in thr office can handle your vacation.
 
I agree with the previuos poster. Change TA's now.
The relationship with the TA is very close, you want to make sure your wants and needs are met, but it seems you may not feel comfortable asking for anything more because you may upset her or feel that you are bothering her.
 
I used them 2x's . The first time the "planner" that was assigned to us was very prompt , she returned calls and answered emails in less then a few hours! The second time, she wasn't that great -she made me wait days for returned phone calls and almost a week for emails !I even caught her in a lie! So from then on I've done it myself... So I would say get another agent to handle your vacation, the only problem might be is that other SW planners may not like" picking up the pieces":)
 

Run away as fast as you can and get another TA. Maybe an entire different company is in order. DU gets high regards from many on this site.
 
i would also not use there office at all. if they are going to act like that then they dont need your business. if it werent for you and others going on trips they would be out of a job. i do all of my own leg work when it comes to disney. please do not let her ruin your experience.:hippie:
 
Not sure who your TA is but I use Marion from Small World and she has never been anything other than amazing. If I can't get her on the phone it's because she's on it :D She's awesome with e-mails and returning phone calls. Guess it depends on the agent.
 
I also use Small World - my agent is Tracy. She's great. I always have my emails returned promptly and she takes all my questions and changes without a grumble. She's great.
 
Dump your TA an agent should work with you help you work for you you are the customer you are the one taking the trip its your money your time if he won't work with you he is not going to be there for you last year we had a to deal with our mom being told she had less than 6 months to live our agent took care of our cancelations got it so we only loss the insurance money didn't make us pay any fees we were suppose to and this year is helping us again and told us call me if they send you any discount codes she rocks
