Well... today I had the EGD and basically the results were not too bad. I have a hiatal hernia and the Dr said I will more than likely have to be on meds the rest of my life for it. He stretched the esophagus a bit also. But so far no cancer . There were a couple of tiny spots that they will test but he told my dh that he thought it might be from the ibuprofen 400 mg I have been taking. I do not remember very much from today though and my dh said he felt like he was living "Groundhog Day" because I repeated everything about 4 times. Since I was knocked out for the procedure it took me several hours to get back to normal. NOW I know why they say do not drive or make any major decisions on a day like today. I don't remember even how my glasses got back on my face!!!
We are still working with the blood pressure medicine. I am on the 3rd version and now am being tried on Micardis HCT 80 mg. I will go for yet another round of blood work to see how my organs are handling the increased dosage.
I have my second mammogram on 4/20. My GP said his paperwork said something about lymph gland with the left breast so I hope this next round of views will yield more answers.
I also decided to go for allergy testing since I have met the deductible for our insurance this year for the first time in my life. I go for this on 4/17.
So...... most of my news has been good news. I am having much fewer migraines, the reflux/gerd/hiatal hernia is going to get under control. My blood pressure is being worked on.I still have to get the next results from the mammogram and I go tomorrow to my gynecologist...(even though I don't think they will get to do the pap tomorrow since(monthly visitor and I could not think straight enough today to call and cancel). All in all I guess I am basically healthy which is a big relief.
Thanks to those that have been concerned.
