I have a wooden train set that I put up every year. We are in the military and in our last move one box got "lost". I am missing parts of my train. I wanted to upload a picture and see if maybe someone knows where I can find one!

Unfortunately, you cannot post a "wanted to buy" thread on the DIS. I suggest that you check eBay to see if the parts are available there, do a google search if you know the manufacturer's name or post a ISO ad on Craig'slist.

I realize that I cant ask to buy something, but can I ask for help in finding one? Also, I would be allowed to trade something for it right?

I dont see anything. I vaguely remember it being Russ? Does that ring any bells? Something like that, I think I may have bought it at Hallmark? I cant remember, I have had it for 5 or 6 years. I am so sad. I know its just a train, but my children look forward to this train being displayed every year

In searching around I saw some wooden russ trains but none that look exactly like yours.
It's in such nice condition I am guessing it's not too old?
I am looking just have not found anything yet. Have you tried going to a Hallmark with a piece of the train? Maybe they'll remember?

could you tell us what the animals are on the trains? Are you sure theres no marks anywere?
