I-95 Jacksonville by-pass question

And the question is--is there still major construction where the 295 by-pass (heading South on the way to WDW) meets up again with I-95?? Last trip when I took the by pass it was quite a mess.

DH drove through on Easter Sunday and doesn't recall there being any construction--it certainly didn't slow him down. He's driving back up this Sunday, and I"ll ask him to keep and eye for you.

The work has been completed. Went through it last month.

went through Jacksonville twice in the past 12 days, and can't say that I noticed it being a problem area

Thanks everyone. That's good news. I absolutely HATE I-95 thru Jacksonville (with the infamous left turn) and find the bypass (tho longer) much easier on my nerves!!!

I lived in Jacksonville for 5 years and hated that left turn. Do you remember when it was only 1 lane?

I always take I-95 straight thru unless it is rush hour - then I say take I-295.
