I 75 traffic

I was amazed at the traffic on I 75 on our recent trip. Granted it was around rush hour, but the craziness was awful. My husband can be a very agressive drive, so he was no better than the rest of the drivers out there, but I was actually scared just being on the road. People were doing anywhere from 90 to 50, and turn signals were rare when changing lanes.

I know it is a major road leading into Orlando, but it was crazy driving home also around 10 am. Is it always packed due to disney, or are there any tips some of you might know? (Next time, no rush hour for us!)

We've noticed that the traffic is really heavy the first of the month. I think it's all the snowbirds heading south. Alot of people rent and the rentals usually start the first of the month.
