I-75 construction....

From the GDOT website, there appears to be a lot of ongoing construction in the southern tip of Georgia... How much of a problem will this cause over Easter Weekend???? We will be travelling thru there either on Saturday or Sunday heading north towards the Chicago area... Since we are a little flexible as far as returning home as we might leave Friday night, Saturday night or Sunday morning, si this work worth us planning when we leave around it???

We're driving down next week and will try to give a first hand report when we return. Of course, it may be so bad that we won't recover for a few days!

we just spoke to some friends today that made their way down from IN, and I asked them about the construction because I also saw the GDOT page. They informed me that it wasnt bad at all and they did not get bogged down by construction. They spoke of a slowdown in the Nashville area at the 24/40 area. I hope the information they gave me is correct. We pretty much travel through GA between 12 and 8am so it shouldnt be bad
