I-65 SB in Tennessee closed

All southbound lanes I-65 in Tennessee are closed (generally) between Highway 96 and I-840 and are likely to remain closed over the weekend. Likely traffic delays northbound due to accident investigation.

That is one heck of a mess. Shocked I hadn't heard about it as I have friends in the area.

Update: north and southbound lanes will close over the weekend for emergency bridge work.

Yes, it is a mess. Wreck was so bad that the bridge will have to be demolished. Tanker truck hit the support column at interstate speeds, and the resulting explosion was so intense that it blew the tanker in half.
