They announced this am that I-285 The Perimeter around Atlanta will have severe delays and backup this weekend due to construction. DO NOT GET ONTO I-285 this weekend, go straight through Town. I-85 and I-75 South Merge together just before you reach Downtown Atlanta. Good traveling to those going this weekend.
THANKS! We are leaving tomorrow morning and will be driving through Atlanta on Sunday morning so I am glad took a look at this board today. We are from SW Ontario, Canada and it's a long drive and I could just imagine my DD8's reaction if we got tied up in a major traffic jam after all those hours in the car.

Briar hope you have a safe and wonderful trip. There are message boards above the expressways and they try to inform people of any delays etc. You cannot miss them and we have the express lanes for vehicles with more than 1 occupant. You can use these lanes all the way through town. We will be heading down in 2 weeks cannot wait.
