We are new owners too!! We bought 210 and I’m already concerned it’s not enough!

We bought VGF direct in August and just passed ROFR on a resale contract at BCV I'm almost concerned that we have too many points now! But we have a toddler and a teenager so having space for the big people to hang out when the little guy goes to bed will be useful, and we wanted to be able to invite family some years, and we will definitely be able to do that now!

Super excited to put all these points to use!!

We've got 200 at BCV and I've been keeping an out for a sweet deal on a few more points, but then I think "why??" I think we've got plenty on that. 200 is enough for 5 nights in a 1-bd or 4 nights in a 2-bd. Surely that's enough if we've got our second trip over at VGF, right?

200 sounds like a nice amount! I honestly like splitting Epcot and MK resorts in one trip and book YC/BC cash with a discount prior to my VGF stay. I should run some more calculations against the 2042 expiration

We also jumped on the VGF incentives. We have 2 contacts already - a 210 point SSR resale that is grandfathered in to be able to use with any resort and an 85 direct SSR direct to get the blue card. We needed more points as our adult kids are now married and we need more space. I was going to buy more SSR resale points but then saw the VGF deal.

We love SSR and it’s our family’s favorite. But the opportunity to buy direct at VGF at $161 a point was simply too good to pass up. I’m a very analytical person and here’s why I chose VGF direct over SSR resale: (1) VGF is 10 years longer than SSR (2) we can use them at any current or future resort (3) they weren’t that much more expensive than SSR and will have greater market value if we ever need to sell (4) better home resort priority (5) buying direct is SO much easier.

We now have enough points to accommodate our growing family. Who would have thought you could buy VGF direct for SAP.
