I’ve been waiting 4 1/2 years to go to Disney..a May 2-9 2010 PTR...TR started!

So there are really only two rides he can't ride, RnRC and Primevel Whirl. Good for him! I hope he enjoys them all. I LOVED Space Mountain from the first time I rode it--as soon as I was tall enough!

That is exactly right...just PW and RnRC that he can't ride. I am thrilled about that. 6 months ago I wasn't quite sure if he would hit 44 inches or not, but I knew it would be close. :)

I am so glad for you that your DD hit 40 inches though. It is completely different touring with a child over that elusive benchmark! And obviously for the better!:goodvibes

That is a great deal on a serger!! That is a good idea to check auctions--never been to one. Estate sells seem like they would be a good option to try as well. Wireless is $9.99 for a 24 hour period. I have to do it since I will still be working on class stuff while down there. I wish Disney would just break down and include it in the price of the room.

party: for confirming and being two weeks away!!! party: Hard to believe it is coming up so quickly.

I'm glad to hear that! I was so glad when I measured her and she was there! And that was without any shoes at all.

:yay: Two weeks! That is so close! :woohoo:

Thanks for dancing with me! :woohoo:

Glad you sorted out your ressies...2 weeks!

I know...I hope they go quick! :rolleyes1

I have never been to an auction, either, but I would like to start. It's not going to happen before Disney, but hopefully after I will have more time to go to them.

Thanks for the info about wireless. My sister already said she will pay it. She wants to have the internet while we are there. :woohoo: So I will get to use it!

I have a confession to make. I almost had an emotional breakdown today. In a good way. My mom's friend dropped off their photopass DVD from their trip and we were watching it a little while ago. They were on the Magic Kingdom, and one of the pictures came on that had the caption "Where Dreams Come True," as many PP pictures do. My mom read it outloud, and with the music they were playing and seeing all the pictures...I teared up. Big time. I did manage to hold them in, barely. If I had been at home I would have bawled. My parents would really have thought I've lost it if I had started crying at someone I barely even know's DVD slideshow, so I managed to hold it together. I am so excited about this trip and I just want it to be as magical as it can. I would not admit this surge of emotion to anyone except all you DIS-ers...because no one else understands. Thank you all for being here with me, sharing the excitement, helping me plan...it just makes it all that much better! :goodvibes

Aww, you sound like me! Every time I see the Disney commercials, I get so excited, and then when they have the ones about couples, I get all emotional because I'm getting married in October and we'll be honeymooning at Disney. I'm right there with you, it's one of those places that will always hold some magic!

That Fairy Godmailer thing sounds so adorable! I would love to do something like that! I'm the type who has to go overboard all the time, so I would totally want to send a little treat or something to come in a cute little package. Haha! I may have to think about this some more...

Can you believe how close our trips are, though?! Having been planning for over a year, I never thought it would get here, so I can only imagine how it must feel for you!

:woohoo::cheer2::cheer2::woohoo:

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! No, I can't believe how close we are...two weeks from now I will be at MK!

Because I wanted to get to 500. I am a veteran now. Or just obsessed! :lmao:

Congratulation DIS Veteran! I've been hanging out in the games section....it's amazing how quickly the posts pile up...but it's too addictive. I have to wait for the holiday so that I can go cold turkey. At the moment, I'm like this - :surfweb:

I think we all understand that emotion.

Congrats on now being a veteran! :thumbsup2

I totally get your tearing up at watching someone else's videos! It happens to me all the time while reading the DIS!

Good luck with all the last minute packing/planning! Enjoy every minute!

You are definitely not alone in getting emotional about Disney World! And congrats on becoming a veteran!

You are not alone for sure! I was at a sporting event for my daughters' school and they were talking about Disney. I had to hold it in because clearly they did not have the "DIS" kind of love for Disney like we do! LOL!! I appreciate coming here because I know everyone is as crazy about Disney as I am!!

Tomorrow I'll be in the single digit countdown!!!!! :cool1:

Hey Kayce,
I do the same; can't help it...don't know what I will talk about after the trip :confused3

13 days! under two weeks now! :yay:

I measured Bella today for the first time in ages, and...

SHE IS 40 inches! And 1/4!

:woohoo:

:cool1::cool1::cool1: WOOHOO!!! Thats awesome! I can remember my oldest constantly checking to see if he was tall enough to ride Indy on each trip we took to DIsneyland. He never hit it.. But now he is 51 inches tall. He is good on all the rides! My older DD just turned 5 a couple of weeks ago, and she hit 40inches when she was 2. :scared1: I know. SHe is very tall! She is 47 inches right now, so she can hit about all the rides she will want to. Which wont be any, because she is a big ole wimp!:lmao:

Awwww so excited for you and Bella to experience the magic of Disney together!!! And it's almost here!!! and congrats DIS veteran!! LOL!!

I better not even let myself venture to the games section! I might never leave my computer! :rotfl2:

I think we all understand that emotion.

Congrats on now being a veteran! :thumbsup2

It is such a strong emotion, too! And growing stronger by the day!

I am so excited for you!!!! I can't wait to hear about it. :woohoo:

I can't wait to experience it all! I hope you are feeling ok and that everything is going well for you! I still need updates even though your TR is over!!!

I have been enjoying packing, shopping, and getting ready for our trip so much. It has been complete excitement! :cloud9:

It's just something you can't put into words...lucky for us, we don't need to here! I am so glad I found these boards!

Those "regular" un-DIS folks...they just don't get it! I love it when people try to give me tips that clearly have no idea what they are talking about...I just smile and say, "Oh, great idea, thanks." Yay for single digits...I will be there Friday! :woohoo::woohoo:

Well you will talk about everything that happened on the trip, of course! I know we will all be waiting to hear about it. And then you start planning the next one, even if it is going to be a long time before you get to go back!

Wow!!! 40 inches at two! She is very tall. My nephew (8) who is going is also kind of a chicken. I am more worried about him not wanting to ride stuff like BTMRR then Bella!

Awwww so excited for you and Bella to experience the magic of Disney together!!! And it's almost here!!! and congrats DIS veteran!! LOL!!

I am beyond excited to share it all with her. I am wondering what the get tears in my eyes grand tally will be for the week...probably pretty high! I can't wait to hear about your week (well, more than week I guess :)), either!

Ok, everyone, I need some ideas. We had thought about doing the BBB back when it was ADR time, but had kind of decided against it. Bella said she would rather have the money for extra souveneirs, and I was kind of neutral on the idea. Well, now that we are so close, I have kind of had a change of heart! I really want her to do it, and she will more than happily oblige for me ;). So I called, and the only real option that would work for us that is open is Tuesday at 2:30. Actually, that was one of very few options for the week left at all. Tuesday night was supposed to be our relax/DTD night, but I went ahead and scheduled figuring I can cancel if I need to. But here is the thing: once she is all dressed up all pretty, I don't know what we could do that is special. Any ideas? :confused3 I checked into 1900PF and Akershus thinking we could just do a mother/daughter meal, but no availability at all. I even checked for Wednesday morning thinking she could just sleep with her hair like that since it would probably stay, but nothing. I am going to keep calling in the slight off chance something will open up Friday early morning, since that is our CRT day, but I figured someone might be able to come up with something else! HELP!
