Hypothetical(sp) question about booking a DVC vacation

Can you still book a DVC reservation for Dec/06 if you have no current points left, but you will be receiving your use year points in Aug/06 or do you have to wait untill Aug to book? Just curious if the situation were to arise.

You can book now. As long as you have points that will be available then, you are good to go.
I booked Dec 06 in January with our Sept 06 points.

All points use is based on date of stay, not the date you book it. Your stay will be in your August 2006 use year, so 2006 points would be current year. You could even borrow 2007 now for a stay in your 2006 use year.

I have Dec uy, I banked points in January so my booking in Dec came off this years points not next years.
