sorry I'm late! parents in town..
1) adopt the water and safety stuff that festivals are doing.
It's a combination of very visible water stations and staff to point out you may need to cool off and use them. move the free water out from behind the counter services to somewhere people can fill up things. One of hte companies that make those flavor things can sponsor it to offset costs (making it cheaper than what it done now). The other part is trained cast members to be on the look out and politely approach some people a little caught up in the moment that aren't noticing the effects of the weather on them or their kids (among other things). and last I think those new outdoor a/c units that singapore zoo is the first to use might be able to add some relief. my understanding is they are lower cost to run than the fans in some queues now so I think there can be some strategic placements of them for help everyone stay cooler. (singapore also has very similar weather to florida).
2) MK needs more room / capacity / reasons to be spread out more.
It's the iconic park, everyone goes there, everyone goes there more than another other park on their stay. The hub expansion seems like it didn't help much with crowds and there is tons of trees added that seem to make most of the new area unusable to see the castle so that needs to be looked at better. Some areas don't really have much in the form of rides or attractions people want anymore so everywhere needs a few new things. and similar to disneyland, some stuff needs to be made so you want to watch fireworks or the projection show from places other than the hub. Basically, get the people spread out and be able to get more people in more queues and make the place less crowded with tons of new to see.. No matter what is built elsewhere, mk always gets those visitors and is almost the most crowded park. There also needs to be a longer parade route that can fit more people so another land or two.
3) a new equally iconic park.
I am really impressed by the direction they went in the design of shanghai. avoiding the history of disney (to a degree) and going with the newer movie franchises for their ride basis. I think this would work as making a modern magic kingdom of sorts. To a small degree, it's kind of what they are turning HS into but I thinnk they could adopt things like HKs mystic manor and such to almost duplicate the mk without actually duplicating it..
