Not any longer. They might still limit if lounge is at capacity but no more reservation system.

We were on a sailing last March and it was pretty deserted in the couple of times we walked in.

I have to say I agree with you. It was so sterile and lacked any charm to me. My family and were discussing how great it would have been if they had a video wall that had the cantina band from New Hope playing shows to entertain the crowd. It would be such a great nostalgia piece for us old folks . Plus give that space some life. Also a video wall is easy to update and change.

Too each their own. I had an awesome bartender, so awesome when I went. Tbh thought I’d only go once, went three times

We were on the Wish last month on a sold out cruise. No reservations needed. We went 3x (once during the day with kids, twice at night), not close to capacity either of the evening times. Bartenders were great and we enjoyed the view of various different planets in the Star Wars universe. The cocktails are also a lot of fun and husband said the beer is good. If you are or have ever been a Star Wars fan, I highly recommend it for a short visit.

It’s theme is specifically luxury space yacht for rich people who can afford to travel between galaxies — but I understand some people would prefer somewhere more like Oga’s.

But um, aren't the rich people who can afford to travel between galaxies the *whispers* bad guys? That's what I'm confused about. Aren't we supposed to NOT like the bad guys and want to be more like the people that chill at Oga's?

I think (but honestly haven't read enough of the backstory to say for sure) that the Hyperspace Lounge is a neutral space, happy to cater to anybody with enough $$ no matter their sympathy.

No reservations needed. I stopped by to check out the place and I don't think anyone was in there. When I came in another time to get one of the drinks, there was only one other party of 4 in the lounge. The drink was really good, though!
