Anyone stay at the Hyatt Regency in Garden Grove? I can get a really good travel agent rate there for June 20-15. It seems really nice! Looking for opinions out there.popcorn::

I was just there April 13th-16th and loved it. The Starbucks on site was expensive but a great feature. Beautiful pools, rooms, and main areas and the staff could not have been nicer. The shuttle only runs twice an hour but it's scheduled so you can plan for it which is really helpful. We would definitely stay here again for the right price.

Great! Yeah...we can get a standard room for 79.50/night!!!

Can you see the fireworks at all from there...from one of the top floors??

stayed there for 1 night in Dec 2008. Nice looking grounds, shuttle wasn't always on time, but the drivers were nice. Had a lot of trouble getting on the shuttle after fireworks/when park closed, since the shuttle is shared with 3 other hotels. Fortunately, they sent extra shuttles.. but it was a long, cold wait.

room was beautiful... noise was unbearable. All the rooms face into the lobby (no outside view) and you can hear all noise from the lobby echoing in your room. there was also a party going on several floors below me and when I called the front desk to complain, they did nothing. i even asked to be moved to another tower/floor and they refused. Fortunately, I was tired enough that once I fell asleep (about 1 hour) I was out for the night.

Would I stay here again? .. only if someone else was buying. Lots of other properties in the area with just as many amenities/good price. I had a better stay at the Candy Cane Inn. I wish you better luck, should you choose this property.

I haven't been there is since '02 but we really loved it. On site dining, they were great when we needed to rent a car & the kids suites were perfection! The walls were thin (plumbing loud) but that's such a tiny thing.

Also - we remember this trip well bc when we had to take the shuttle to the park a certain stinky man got on w/ us THREE times! It was actually really unbearable - but we can laugh about it now!

When we've stayed at this hotel, it was because we got it on priceline after bidding for a 3.5 star in the Disneyland area.

Parking is like $12 a night or so, something to consider if you have a car.

The free shuttle is nice.

The rooms are nice, flat screen, great beds, etc.

When we were there last they had a thing where they projected Disney movies onto the wall by one of the pools.

That's not true.....we stayed there last year and our room overlooked one of the pools.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Orange County for 16 nights last year and have booked to go again this year. We loved it!

Extremely helpful staff, spacious and comfortable rooms. Very convenient (and free- some hotels charge!) shuttle to Disney. If there ever was too many people for one bus they ran another one right away, we never had trouble getting on a shuttle.

A beautiful hotel that I cannot recommend highly enough

We stayed there in '04 and never will again. Yes, the rooms are nice, the beds are amazing, but ugh... getting to and from the parks using the shuttle is frustrating when you are used to staying right across the street within walking distance. People were rude and cutting in line to get on the shuttle.

But that's just my experience. For us, it's worth it to stay across the street at a more modest hotel. Makes going back for a nap in the afternoon so much easier. My family goes for the parks, not the hotel.

I've stayed there 3 times, for non disney-related events :O
It is AMMMAZING. One of the best hotels i've ever stayed at, and one of my favorites.
Enjoy your stay!

We only stay there if we win it through Priceline, but it is by far our favorite. I've had rooms that overlook one of the pools (there are two), and I've never had any noise issues with the ones that overlook the lobby either. We always drive to the park, so no experience with the shuttles.

Well, I went ahead and reserved a room. I also have the HOJO booked as well just to give me a little more time to think about it. I got a really good rate with both....$64/night for the Hyatt standard room : $89/night for a deluxe Disney view at the HOJO.

My issue is the flights. I booked the Hyatt for June 14-18 (flights cost 897.00 for 4 people)
The HOJO is booked for July 21-25 (flights cost 1105.00 for 4 people)

HOJO is booked up on the 14th, so Im not really sure what to do.
