Hyatt Question

Greetings all!

We are booked on the 9/25 sailing of the Magic, cruise #4!!! We are flying in the night before and have booked a room at the airport Hyatt. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do they have any arragnements set up with DCL? How much trouble was it handling your baggage to and from the hotel? And finally, does anyone know how early you can get on one of the DCL cruise buses for the port?

We done this twice. When you get to MCO, gather your luggage (use a Smart Cart if necessary) and walk up to Hyatt lobby. It's not a big deal unless, of course, you are bringing a lot of luggage. Bellmen will take your luggage as Smart Carts are not allowed on any upper floors. When you check in, tell person you are taking Disney cruise in the morning. They will hand you a letter explaining what you need to do. Basically it says, you should put on your DCL tags, have your bags outside your room by 8:30am and you can meet DCL Transportation Reps in a designated area off lobby beginning at, if I remember correctly, 9:30am. The sooner you check in with DCL, the sooner you get on the bus. HTH and happy cruising!!

I like the idea of them picking up our luggage on the departure morning. One of my favorite things is not handling our luggage. There are five of us and we tend to pack as if we're going away for a month.

Hi. What we do is stay at the Hyatt, have DCL take out luggage in the morning, and use Happy Limo to the port! Just watch out for those grocery stops!
