Hyatt gift card with no pin experiences?

I recently bought a physical Hyatt gift card from Amazon and it arrived with today with no pin and no way for me to check the balance. (I saw in the reviews this was a possibility and if my card turns out to empty I figured I'll get a refund from Amazon.) I also bought an eGift card through cardcash and it too arrived with no pin number. (I'll be using it soon so I'm covered under the 45 day guarantee if it's a dud.) Does anyone have experience redeeming these at Hyatt hotels? I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to run into problems with Hyatt front desks with the pin code portions being blank?

We used some last summer that I bought on Ebay. It was from a verified seller, but I was still a little nervous about them. I bought them for around 20% off and planned on using them for 2 nights for 2 rooms in Honolulu with extended family, so if they didn't work, it wouldn't just affect me.

If I remember, I called the hotel directly and the checked the numbers for me even though they couldn't apply them to the room until we were there. In our case, everything worked out fine, but like I said, I was nervous. I'm sure everything will be fine with them, but you might try calling the hotel and see if they can verify them for you.
