HWS to EPCOT on Disney transportation?

Silly as it may seem, in all of my trips to the world I have not used anything but the monorail from TTC to MK.
We need to split up our group one afternoon on our next trip, DD and I have a Behind the Seeds tour scheduled and the rest of the group will be leaving HWS to take DGS back to our resort for naptime using our car.
What is the best way to get from HWS to EP? Do they Friendship Boats go direct to EP with stops, or will we need to get off one and on another at a resort?
Can I drive my scooter on the boat?
Or will I need go have them drop us off at EP on the way back to the resort?

You can walk/scooter between the 2, takes about 20-25 minutes.
Disney transportation takes about the same amount of time by boat, as the boat stops at all the resorts along the way, but you can get your scooter on the ferry.
There is also buses, short trip, but dependant upon when last bus left the studios. This is the most direct option, going from.park to park with no other stops...

I'm guessing the HWS is Disney Hollywood Studios. Yes, you can take the boat from DHS to Epcot. There will be several stops along the way. And you can drive your scooter onto the boat. I'm thinking the trip takes about 30 minutes or so, but I'm not certain on the time.

The boat between HS and Epcot takes about 25 minutes. I find it to be a nice way to get between the two parks and also get a little bit of rest in, at least for the feet. If you are going from HS, you'll get onto the boat at the dock outside the park entrance. The boat will stop at the Swan/Dolphin, the Boardwalk and the Yacht/Beach Club, then finally at the Epcot International Gateway.

If you take the boat, it will take you 25 mins once you leave the dock. The boat stops at S/D, YC/BC, BW, the Epcot. If you just miss a boat, you could be waiting up to 20 mins for the next one. But, you can ride your scooter on.
If you choose to 'walk' over to Epcot, it will take about 20 mins.
Or, there is a bus that will take you to the front of Epcot...is most likely located to the left as you exit DHS. I'm not familiar with timing for the bus, but it's probably about every 20 mins.

I would recommend taking the bus from DHS to EP as it will get you to the FW entrance, closest to the Land pavilion for your tour. If you take the boat, you will have to walk through part of WS and then into FW to get to the Land.
