Mom and I stayed in a 1 br savanna view at AKV-Kidani last year. We were very impressed by the room but mom had difficulty sleeping in the master bedroom because the HVAC closet was inside the bedroom and the noise woke her up throughout the night. During our next trip, we sayed in a 1 br savanna at Jambo House, the HVAC was inside of the bathroom, so mom was able to sleep much better. My question is this: has anyone noticed where the HVAC closet is located in the studio and 2 br villas at Kidani and Jambo?

In our dedicated 2 bedroom at Kidani, the air conditioning unit was in the master bedroom. I know this because it didn't work for 2 nights, and the repairman had to come twice and work on it. He worked in the master bedroom.

Thanks for the response!

I still would like to find out about the studios for Kidani and Jambo if anyone has information. Thanks!

As a sidenote, I wonder why the HVAC unit is in the bedroom at Kidani but not at Jambo. It is very disruptive to have it in the sleeping area. I love Kidani Village but that was a major issue for my mother.

We just got back from a trip to Disney and stayed 2 nights at Kindani. The AC unit in the master bedroom was very annoying. I think it's a very poor design.

We've just got back from Kidani staying in a 1 bed Savannah view and our closet was in the bathroom opposite the tub. :confused3

I did notice a fan blowing constantly from the ceiling above the door into our villa even when our AC was switched off that was very noisy and a bit too cold.

We recently stayed in a 1 bedroom Kidani Savannah view and the AC was terribly annoying. In the master bedroom we didn't have hardly any airflow, but their was a huge banging noise everytime the AC turned off. In the Family/dining room it was absolutely freezing...it seemed all the air was coming in through the vent by the entry door, and nowhere else in the whole unit.

Other than that, we loved Kidani, but the AC issues were very disruptive to our overall experience.

I am bumping this thread because I never received an answer to one of my original questions. :)

I am considering staying in a Kidani Village studio in December. My question: Is the HVAC system in the Kidani Village studio room very loud and disruptive? Thanks for any responses!
