Should we keep this thread going? Now that Jet blue is not sending out advance notification like last year, I am afraid I will miss the best fares! Personally I don't think sending out notification the day the flights open is any real perk for Jet Blue members!

Well, looks like southwest rates are actually really good for us so we are booking with them. I was prepared for their rates to be MUCH higher. I do hope JetBlue releases soon though for everyone waiting!

I prefer Jetblue, but sorry JB, since SW released fares today I just couldn't pass up those $54 fares from IAD to MCO for March!

Jetblue is not longer sending out early notice? Last time I found their email in my spam folder. I guess I will check several times a day

Early notice arrives in your email the day that the flights are posted. Not 24 hours prior like they used to. So........if you don't check your email early in the morning, you could miss the best flights!

I checked SW from Albany to MCO on March 12th and they post the web fare one way at $149. Anyone know if when they first posted it was lower? I need tickets from the Saturday to the Saturday which isn't posted yet. As I have a huge JB credit which I have to use, (long story 2009 flights cancelled due to surgery), I will be waiting for JB to open up. Last year it was on September 4th, 2008. I have the feeling that it will be later this year, since they have already opened up February.

I called a while back and they told me "the first week or 2 of Sept." for march and April fares...

Glad I found this thread! Last time they opened up I got an email a few days in advance. Where did you learn they stopped doing this? I will have to start checking as we are hoping for good rates for a possible trip in April. What time of day do they usually open up? Thanks!!
