Just saw that hurricane warnings are expected for FL??? Anyone else heard the same? :sad2:

Tropical Storm Alberto is coming across the state today and tomorrow, I knew it was close to hurrican strength. Here in Orlando, lots of rain today, even more tomorrow, should be back to our normal hazy, hot and humid by Wednesday afternoon.

Yes! TS Alberto has increased to 70 mph - just 5 mph under a hurricane! Chances are TS Alberto will become Hurricane Alberto...

we do have hurricane warnings right now - the storm is a Tropical Storm right now but has the possibility of becoming a hurricane. Landfall is expected Tuesday near Cedar Key. But things change regularly!

According to Weather.com --
Orlando has a Tornado Watch .. expect showers possibly over one inch Mon/Tues and winds upwards of 20-30mph. Of course, there are spots that could be gusty and heavy downpours .. but it doesn't sound like much for Orlando since it's expected to go into North FLA.

Being from New Orleans, I'll be keeping my eye on each and every TS. My thoughts are with all of you in Florida, be safe, good luck and God Bless!!
