Hurricane....ugh

I just got off the phone with guest services. They would not let me check in tomorrow. They said I would have to wait until Sunday... I am literally sitting in Wildwood

I called and asked if Fort was opening Saturday or Sunday. The CM said she did not know but that the Fort staff would be back in the morning at 8:00am and to call back in.

We called the Fort front desk number early this morning. They said the Fort would be open tomorrow, Sunday the 9th. She transferred us to reservations. The reservations person told us that the Fort wasn't accepting any changes for Fort reservations. The first day we can be there is Monday. She asked her supervisor to see if they could make an exception and she was told NO....... She did say to keep trying during the day. I asked about damage and she said that none was reported. So we wait............... Hope anyone that has reservations will have better luck. I know that the campers that were moved out and stored on property will have to go back first. I am sure that is what is happening. I am just glad we will be able to go. I know lots of families won't be able to due to the storm...

My son is a gardener at the MK and is headed to work overtime in cleaning up the Fort after they finish cleaning up the Contemporary. He said there is a lot of debris at the Fort.

We called the Fort this afternoon and they are letting us back into the Fort tomorrow morning at 8am!

May be I missed it somewhere, but I was wondering, for those of you that might have been there with a cart from Kenny, what did they have you do with them? Did you have to return the cart or was there their a place Disney had you park them? :confused3
