Well we knew we would be going back to Disney in 2007, I'm almost positive now that we are all agreeing on the first week of November. But then it crossed my mind this morning that people have said you have to watch out in october for possible hurricanes. Well the 1st week on Nov. is awfully close, has anyone ever heard of a hurricane at this time or should i be safe.

Thanks for any input.

Hi! If I'm remembering correctly, hurricane season actually goes until November 30. I believe August/September are peak months for hurricanes, but they aren't unheard of in October, or even November. The way I look at it is that hurricane season covers 6 months of the year. I'm not going to let the threat of a hurricane take away half of my possible WDW time. I think they did close for 1/2 day, or maybe 1 day this past season, due to a hurricane, but opened asap.

We're going mid-October, and I'm also hoping that any biggies are over with before that time. But if we do get stuck, we'll make the best of it for the time that we are stuck in the resort.
