GM, all. Hope everyone onsite was able to get some rest last night. My sister had nothing to report about YC other than some debris on the grounds. She made it outside for a walk not long ago. Her house in Tampa, Zone B - a friend drove by and said other than a tree and fence down, there appears to be no damage - but she is anxious to get home. Unfortunately, she's he's still under evacuation orders and there is no power in her area; law enforcement is not allowing residents to return yet. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. It looks like there is gas at a nearby Speedway, so maybe she can do that, at least.

Which explains why they are saying everything that closed early yesterday stays closed today...and they aren't even guaranteeing everything will open tomorrow (water parks and mini golf may stay closed)...

Agree. This is my CM daughter's third hurricane Ride Out and from her perspective, it's been quite a bit worse than her prior experiences.

Have they closed down the resort pools for today? Or are they still open? Specifically beach/yacht club.

cleaning things so I assume they plan on opening those today but not sure of others.

They may open late and stagger openings. That’s what happened when we were there during Nicole. The parks started opening at 1-2pm and the last park opened at 4 pm.

For all the pools they need to clean up any debris and treat the water and then each pool must cycle for a number of hours depending on what needed to be added. It is for the Guests safety.

Right, I was answering the question by explaining that the lifeguards at the all stars at least have been working in that since this morning and I'm not sure of the others.

Movies pool is open...I'm assuming Music will be shortly (they started later than the Movies crew) not sure about Sports.

Looks like they were checking the monorail for damages this morning.

I just walked around the GF. No major damage that I see, but there were a lot of maintenance and cast members working. Some shingles from the DVC building; sand/rocks on the sidewalk from the pool. You could walk up to the bridge on the walking path. I didn’t go that far yet, but I’ll check it out later this afternoon.

Oh good, they won't have to raise menu prices (even more) to cover the damage

They are still working on the pools at GF too
