On Fb, AK entertainment CMs are reporting all parks will close at 5:00p.

Well since there are folks that work at both am sure they were on alert to watch for inside memo so they could tell the other.

Seriously why the games? This isn't parking prices, this is keeping folks off the roads which is the worse place to be.

This storm is gaining in strength - and is prepared to create a large swath of damage to the central east cost of Florida. It is larger than Andrew, and like Andrew appears to be gaining strength in the deeply warm waters off the Bahamas.

If you at WDW be prepared to be without power and be stuck in place for more than 24 hours. Also plan to head home heading west not east- I would expect the I-95 corridor to be severely impacted.

I'm with you. That is absolutely ridiculous. I am thinking they will make it a night game and have them fly in Saturday morning. Home field advantage is not worth flying a group of elite athletes into an area that sustained a catastrophe less than 24 hours before hand.

Good luck to all in Florida. Got plans to fly down Sunday for a 4 day Food & Wine trip ... so I'm certainly hoping it stays off coast and mellows out.

One positive for all resort guests, dw has an amazing generator system. Every park and resort can be up and running in a matter of minutes.

It's because Tampa as of now is only under a Tropical Storm Watch. The Tropical Storm Warning ends at the eastern border of Hillsborough County.

For those of you who may be in the parks or going to the parks, please make sure you give yourself extra time to get back to your resorts or homes before this evening. The roads around property are going to fill up quick, if they haven't already.

Also isn't a bad idea to pick up some bagged goods or treats (Pretzels, rice krispies, etc) at some of the in park locations if you have a purse or bag to carry them. Helps to keep you from dealing with the lines at the hotel locations

Orlando airport will close at 8PM tonight and be closed all Friday, which means they are going to have 1-1/2 days of flights cancelled and all those people will be trying to get out over the weekend. So, expect giant delays on Saturday and probably Sunday Good luck.
