Hurricane Irma?

I would not be stressed about the lack of a cancellation number. Things like that can be sorted out after things have calmed down. If you charged whatever it is you are cancelling and it doesn't go through, dispute the charge if Disney won't make it right after this is over. I am willing to bet that they will make it right. They are not unreasonable (most of the time). Also - if you are high and dry and safe, stressing about a cancellation fee is (to me) a waste of stress. I save mine for other things.

Did you receive a cancellation number? I have called several times. Our package is still showing as of today. Called Pop and was told as long as it was showing and we don't show we would be considered a no show. I am really stressed.

Mine is still showing too now I am worried

We're flying from Nashville to Orlando on Tuesday. Do you think it will be clear by then? Just hoping our flight doesn't get canceled.
We are flying out of Nashville Tuesday as well. We are on the 8:15 nonstop. I am a little worried about it being cancelled or delayed. If it was later in the day I wouldn't be as worried.

Has anyone been on hold so long the music stops?? After about 1 hour 25 minutes it stopped, no answer, but it still says the call is active. Found I hold on or call back?

this was already clarified a couple of pages ago.
At the moment the current forecast shows winds at around 80MPH to 120MPH for Central Florida during the point where the eye will be closest to Orlando

As the NHC repeatedly states, take any forecast that is four + days out of where a hurricane will be with a big, BIG grain of a salt. Their own research proves you are looking at average deviations of 100+ miles from what their model said four days earlier.

I've been on hold for 2 and a half hours and the music is still going but I've also heard of people having no music at all so I wouldn't hang up.

Well since its about 3 days away instead of 4 plus, we can take it with a little grain of salt

We are on the 11:45 nonstop. I'm wondering if I should drive to the airport Sunday instead of waiting on the phone to see if we need to make changes.

My family is supposed to leave New Orleans Tuesday morning flight to Orlando. Currently our vacation is sept 12-16. Not making a final decision until Monday the 11th. All we can do is wait and see....

That can't be true possibly - it's not your fault the systems haven't updated. I would suggest if you call again to make a note of the time of the call and the name of the adviser so you have at least some record of acknowledgment of cancellation.

Maybe I'm not caught up with the latest detail, but the Chicago Tribune is still saying "Operations will cease at Orlando International Airport at 2 p.m. on Saturday"

Thanks! Hopefully they pick up for you soon, I'm at 1 hour 53 minutes. Ahh!!

Not sure if they will know much about Tuesday on Sunday. We are 2 hours south of Nashville so if we have to change anything it will be over the phone. I'm planning on sticking with our plans for now and will change last minute if need be.

I read where they retracted that statement and issued another that advised travelers to check with the individual airline.

If it's still showing in your itinerary and you have no confirmation number call Disney back. I'm on a 2 hour hold again. Because the CM last night told me she cancelled our package but never did. The CM just now told me I should've gotten a number and talked to guest services after I talked to the CM who started the cancellation process. But the CM last night never forwarded me over to them or told me to call them to finish up the process. She assured me I was all set and said I'd get email with number co firming my cancellation. She also said I'd see a refund in 3 to 4 days. Now I wonder if they really canceled my MNSSHP tickets. Ugh I believed her. These posts got me worried so I checked the disney app and called back bc our trip was still showing and this is when I found out it never cancelled. Now I'm on a 2 hr or longer hold. I better get all my money back. I'm very upset with Disney.
