Hunters Creek is right on the Osceola and Orange county lines....Kissimmee is just about 5 miles away and downtown Orlando is about 15 miles away. BOTH of those locations are getting HAMMERED really hard right now. We are getting probably 30 to 40 mph winds and an occasional higher gust. No rain at the moment. There is a news reporter on TV now down in Kissimmee that just got blown off his feet! Each time an outer band rolls in we seem to be in the middle of where there is not much happeneing. Daytona Beach is getting ripped apart....
I can look out my windows and see the 417 Tollway.....no cars....street lights are swaying, signs are bending over but that's it. No damage that I can see so far. There is probably a little but I don't think it's bad. But just a few miles down the road it's another war zone!
I just want the power and cable to hold on so I can see Tennessee play football on ESPN tonight!!!!!!
