hurrican isabell.. i am in a panic!!

finally we sail out the 14 sunday and now theres a hurrican we our on the 4 day wonder.. what is going to happen?/its a #3 now hitting the bahama sat the 13 .. someone tell me what happens now ? will we sail? i bought trip insurance will we get out money back?/

Oh you WILL sail, but where you sail will be the fun part. Think of it as a cruise to anywhere. Anywhere they take you, you WILL be happy.

I understand your concern, but I am sure everything is going to be ok. (Not that I wouldn't be a much happier person if that storm would just happen to take a north turn any time now) Being we live in Florida and about 1 hour from the coast we will be watching to see if we need to take any precautions with our home in addition to wondering where in the world I am going to wake up on the cruise ship.

I was kind of worried since it looks like this will be a long hurricane season, but after reading all the great responses, I will just kick back and hope for a fun mystery cruise. We are not leaving until Nov 16th, but heck, who knows what it will be like by then. Maybe I will schedule my next cruise earlier and gamble on bad weather (grin). Of course, as long as we get to CC I will be a happy camper!!!!

Sailed through a Hurricane with Disney 2 yrs ago. They find "good" weather, but no shot of CC if the winds are even remotely high.

I was thinking that the projected path of the Hurricane has it down in the Caribbean??? I would be more worried if I was booked on the Magic!!!

PS: Yes, unless Port Canaveral is being affected, the ships will sail.... they will change their route, and ports, if necessary, to avoid the Hurricane. I know somebody who sailed during a Hurricane once, and never saw a drop of rain!
